To Continue Opening My Heart

Lord, I pray to you through the Holy Spirit to guide me on my path. To help me open my heart and hear the guidance you can grace me with. Today, I again ask Jesus to forgive my sins. Too many years have passed since I opened up my heart to you and during these years I turned away, closed myself off to your teachings and I sinned. And only when I found myself in the darkest of places, full of despair, did I look for your light. I had forsaken you, but you had never forsaken me. So here I am, a sinner, trying to find a way to bring back the good and the honour to this life of mine. For the last two days I have prayed to you and asked for forgiveness and guidance, and since I have been doing this a lightness has been returning to my life, the beginnings of clarity of to deal with my burdens. So I pray to be helped to continue my return to you. In Jesus Name. Amen
