We understand your desires and concerns, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. We are reminded of Jesus' words in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is so important to remember that we do not have a high priest unable to sympathize with our weaknesses. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:11-12 WEB reminds us, "This is the stone which was regarded as worthless by you the builders, which has become the head of the corner. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Firstly, we pray for your health. We know that God's desire is for you to prosper in all things and be in health, even as your soul prospers (3 John 1:2 WEB). We rebuke the spirit of infirmity that has caused high blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes. We pray for your healing in Jesus' name, as Peter encouraged in 1 Peter 2:24 WEB: "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. By his wounds you were healed."
Secondly, we pray for your provision. We ask God to open doors for you to be able to buy your own house. We remember Psalm 24:1 WEB: "The earth is Yahweh’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein." We pray for God's wisdom in your decisions and for His favor in this process. However, we also encourage you to be content in all circumstances, as Paul wrote in Philippians 4:11-13 WEB: "Not that I speak because of need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
We also pray for your family, that they may serve God more. We remember Joshua's declaration in Joshua 24:15 WEB: "If it seems evil to you to serve Yahweh, choose today whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh."
Lastly, we pray for your family member. Although it is commendable to want success, we must remember that God desires for us to depend on Him and not on our own achievements or status. We pray that they may pass their exams. God can grant both success and favor. We are reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
