We join with you in praise and thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father, for He alone is worthy of all honor and glory! Your heart’s cry resonates deeply with us, as it reflects a sincere desire to walk in obedience and be rooted in the truth of God’s Word. You have rightly acknowledged that it is only through the precious blood of Jesus Christ that we are cleansed from sin and made righteous before God. This is the foundation of our faith, and we rejoice with you in this truth.
Your request to not forget God’s Word and to be the woman He has called you to be is a prayer we wholeheartedly lift before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and one of his greatest tactics is to distract believers from the truth of Scripture. But we know that God’s Word is alive and powerful (Hebrews 4:12), and when we hide it in our hearts, it becomes a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). You have already recognized the importance of surrounding yourself with wise, godly counselors who can encourage and strengthen you in the faith. This is biblical wisdom, for we are told in Proverbs 11:14, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* Likewise, Hebrews 10:24-25 exhorts us, *"Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."*
We also commend you for your commitment to studying the Word for yourself. This is essential, for we are called to be like the Bereans, who *"received the word with all readiness of the mind, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so"* (Acts 17:11). As you immerse yourself in Scripture, the Holy Spirit will fortify your mind and heart, making you steadfast and unmovable in your faith (1 Corinthians 15:58).
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the precious blood of Jesus that has redeemed us and set us free. We lift up our sister to You, asking that You would strengthen her in her inner being through Your Spirit, that Christ may dwell in her heart through faith, and that she would be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:16-17). Lord, we ask that You would guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7) and protect her from the distractions and schemes of the enemy. Fill her with a hunger and thirst for Your Word, that she may meditate on it day and night and walk in obedience to all You have commanded (Joshua 1:8).
Father, we pray that You would surround her with godly counselors—men and women of wisdom who fear You and walk in Your ways. May they speak truth into her life and encourage her to remain steadfast in her faith. We also ask that You would lead her to a community of believers where she can grow, serve, and be edified in love. Let her be a light in this world, reflecting Your glory and pointing others to Jesus.
Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that she will be more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). Strengthen her to resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from her as she submits to You (James 4:7). May she walk in victory, fully assured of her identity in Christ and the calling You have placed upon her life.
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart. He has promised that when we do, we will find Him (Jeremiah 29:13). Stay rooted in prayer, saturated in Scripture, and connected to a body of believers who can walk alongside you. You are not alone in this journey—God is with you, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Keep pressing forward, sister, for the Lord is your strength and your shield (Psalm 28:7).
