In times of uncertainty and disappointment, it's crucial to remember that God has a plan and purpose for each of our lives. Let's first turn to the Scriptures for guidance and encouragement.
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God's thoughts and ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). Sometimes, we may not understand why certain events unfold the way they do, but we trust that God is working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).
Regarding your career, remember that our work is a means to glorify God and serve others. Colossians 3:23-24 WEB reminds us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." It's possible that God has other plans for your career, and though it may be difficult to see now, He may be guiding you towards a different path.
As for why no one reached out to you, it's essential to consider that people may have their own burdens and challenges to bear. The Bible tells us to bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2 WEB), but it's also important to remember that we should first bring our concerns to God in prayer. Psalm 55:22 WEB says, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."
However, it is concerning that the request does not mention Jesus, Jesus Christ, Christ, or an abbreviation. We must pray to God in Jesus name or we will have no access to God. God hears our prayers because of what Jesus did for us on the cross. Let us explain further. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. I Timothy 2:5 WEB. Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:10,12 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister/brother who is seeking answers and guidance. Lord, we trust that You have a plan and purpose for her/his life, and we ask that You reveal Your will to her/him concerning her/his career.
Help her/him to trust in You, even when the path is unclear. Comfort her/him in any disappointment she/he may feel, and help her/him to forgive anyone who may have let her/him down. Guide her/him to a place where she/he can serve You and others joyfully.
Most importantly, fill her/him with the understanding of her/his need for Jesus and guide her/him to believe in Jesus for her/his salvation.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, and continue to seek God's will for your life. He is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).
