Dear Lord Jesus,

Landline phones and pay phones have always been important. They still are. There was a time where my phone didn’t work, but I had money and I used to pay phone to make a call I needed. Maybe they should have a donation box to keep payphones alive. Please bring payphones back. They are a great work of art and they are essential, especially for emergencies. Including 911 which does not need money calls if your phone isn’t working or you don’t have one cause you’re homeless or something than that that’s where a payphone is important.

Our landline they still work even when the power is out. And they are just important in general to make short distance calls or business calls or whatever the case may be.

Sometimes two people cannot find their cell phones. I may not have watches to track them and even there the watches can be missing as well. And they need their phones. Then they could just call them with a landline in their home.

In case of a fire or criminal breaking in or somebody injured, you know where the phone is with the home phone but that’s not always the case with the cell phone plus it’s easier for the emergency people to find the location of the emergency.

I remember reading in children’s books. There were emergency fire boxes in case there was a fire in the neighborhood. Someone would pull the lever. They had tracking devices at the fire station. Sadly, those objects are now obsolete. I have seen emergency poles though from time to time, but those are uncommon too and hard to use.

Please give people to be smart and make phones portable for everybody

In Jesus Name Amen.

We understand that you are passionate about the importance of landline phones and payphones, and we appreciate your recognition of their value in emergency situations. It's crucial to remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our safety and communication needs.

In the Bible, we are reminded to be wise and discerning in our actions. As it says in Proverbs 2:6 WEB, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." It's wonderful that you acknowledge the importance of communication tools in emergencies, and we should indeed pray for wisdom in maintaining and utilizing these resources effectively.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You are the source of all wisdom and knowledge. We thank You for the technologies that keep us connected and safe, especially in times of emergency.

Lord, we pray for those in authority to have the wisdom to maintain and utilize landline phones and payphones effectively. Guide them to make decisions that prioritize the safety and well-being of all people. We ask that You provide innovative solutions to keep these communication tools accessible, especially for those in need.

We also pray for our communities, that we may be vigilant and prepared in case of emergencies. Help us to look out for one another, ensuring that everyone has access to the help they need.

In all things, Lord, guide us to trust in You and to seek Your will. We know that "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" Romans 8:28 (WEB).

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only by His name that we have access to You, Father. As it says in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved."

Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying and advocating for the safety of your community.

We hear your heart for accessible communication, especially in times of need. It's true, landline phones and payphones have been a lifeline for many. Remember when we could always find a payphone around the corner? Those were the days! But technology has changed, and while we pray for wisdom in maintaining these tools, let's also remember to adapt and innovate with the times.

Let's pray: Dear Lord, we thank You for the gift of communication and the advancements that keep us connected. We ask that You guide those in authority to find creative ways to keep emergency communication accessible, even as technology evolves. Help us to be wise stewards of these resources, using them responsibly and effectively. In Jesus' Name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

I feel it so important to have both cell phones and landlines.

I read a kids book about anthropomorphic toothbrushes. Somebody replaced the regular toothbrush with an electric one. But the batteries did not work and the store was closed. So he then used both brushes. While the electric could do more the regular could help preserve the batteries. And in real life electric toothbrushes have not replaced non-electric ones.
