We hear your heart’s longing for love and the desire for God’s intervention in your life’s challenges. First, let us affirm that your hope for a godly marriage is beautiful and aligns with Scripture, which tells us, *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord"* (Proverbs 18:22 WEB). However, we must also encourage you to seek the Lord’s will above all else, trusting that His timing and plan for your life—including your future spouse—are perfect.

If you are currently in a relationship that does not honor God, such as one involving premarital intimacy (fornication) or an unequal yoke with a non-believer, we must gently but firmly rebuke this in Jesus’ name. Scripture is clear: *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). If this applies to you, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, asking Him to lead you into a relationship that reflects His holiness.

We also want to address the foundation of your prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we invite you to do so now. Salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus, who died for our sins and rose again (Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB). Without Him, our prayers cannot reach the throne of God.

Now, let us lift you up in prayer:

Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and we ask that You align them with Your perfect will. If it is Your plan for them to marry, prepare them to be a godly spouse and bring the right person into their life at the right time. Father, we rebuke any ungodly relationships or influences in their life, and we ask that You break every chain of sin, including fornication or unbelief, that may be hindering Your blessings. Cleanse their heart, Lord, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Give them patience to wait on You and wisdom to discern Your voice. We declare that their problems will be solved according to Your will, and we trust You to work all things together for their good (Romans 8:28 WEB). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them find their ultimate fulfillment in You alone. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen."*

We encourage you to draw near to God through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowship with other believers. Seek His kingdom first (Matthew 6:33 WEB), and trust that He will add all these things—including a godly spouse—unto you in His perfect timing. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
