Tick Tock...

Tick Tock...do you hear the ticking? I hope you do.

A grace period is defined as an extension of time beyond your deadline. One has been given a temporary reprieve to rectify a situation or to accomplish a set task or goal. Now the question is how do you spend this newfound grace period? Do you insist on slacking off or do you become an effective laborer of the Almighty God?
One could view the New Testament as a grace period for the unrighteous to be renewed and to honorably labor in His service.

Romans 12:11
Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.

We all have been given an extension in our lives, but be forewarned, this grace period will come to an abrupt end. Everyone of us will be made accountable. So remain ready for that day when He calls you home.

Hebrews 9:27
And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment...

Tick tock...your clock is ticking and the inevitable is fast approaching. Vehemently pursue the Lord -not just haphazardly! Pursue Him with all your soul, all your might, and all of your spirit. Be spiritually ready!

Time flys away from us and we need to be busy doing God's work. Wake up and hear the voice of the Lord. Pray without ceasing so you will not enter into temptation. Reading God's word and praying is one important thing se should do before going out the door to work. God will protect us on the road and wherever we are.

I am so glad to know that time is near for Jesus arrival on earth to take us all home to heaven. None of us should miss it.
