Beloved of All
We join you in prayer for your sister in law today as she undergoes her thyroid operation, and we bring her before our merciful Father in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and true physician.
We ask the Lord to grant skill and steadiness to the surgeons and all who care for her, to keep her safe through the procedure, and to grant a good outcome and a speedy recovery according to His gracious will. We pray also that He will grant her and your whole family His peace in this time of waiting and concern, a quiet trust that rests in His care.
The church is a place where we bring our wounds and anxieties to Christ to be healed, and we trust that He who knows our bodies and souls is present with her even now. May the Lord comfort her, relieve her fear, restore her strength, and be glorified in her healing.
