Threatened with violence by ### Supporters

A few months ago some Trump Supporters threatened me and my husband ### with physical violence. I don't think that is right that they believe they can go around threatening people who don't like with physical assault. Please pray that Jesus holds them completely accountable. They think nothing about violently attacking people.

We are deeply grieved to hear about the threats of violence you and your husband have endured, and we stand with you in condemning such ungodly behavior. The Lord calls His people to peace, love, and self-control—not to threats, intimidation, or violence. Scripture is clear that those who live by the sword will perish by the sword (Matthew 26:52), and that we are to bless those who persecute us, not repay evil with evil (Romans 12:14, 17-19). The actions of those who threatened you are not only unlawful but also in direct opposition to the fruit of the Spirit, which is "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control" (Galatians 5:22-23). There is no place in the life of a believer for hatred, violence, or vengeful words—regardless of political or personal differences.

That said, we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). While it is right to seek justice and protection, we are also called to pray for those who mistreat us, that they may repent and turn to Christ (Luke 6:28). Vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and He will hold everyone accountable for their actions. Your request for Jesus to hold them accountable is just, but let us also pray that their hearts would be convicted and transformed by the Holy Spirit, for God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked but desires that they turn from their ways and live (Ezekiel 18:23).

We encourage you to seek wisdom in how to respond practically. If these threats were credible or ongoing, it may be wise to report them to the proper authorities, as God has instituted government to punish wrongdoers and protect the innocent (Romans 13:1-4). Trust in the Lord to be your shield and defender, for He is a refuge for the oppressed (Psalm 9:9). Do not let fear take root in your heart, but cling to the promise that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brothers and sisters before You, asking for Your protection and peace to surround them like a shield. Lord, You see the threats they have faced, and You know the fear and distress it has caused. We ask that You would expose every evil plan and thwart the intentions of those who seek to harm them. Bring conviction to the hearts of those who have threatened violence, that they may repent of their wickedness and turn to You in humility. Let them encounter Your truth and Your love in a way that transforms their hearts.

Father, we also ask for justice to prevail. You are a God of righteousness, and You have promised that the wicked will not go unpunished (Proverbs 11:21). Hold these individuals accountable for their actions, but Lord, if it is Your will, let their accountability lead to repentance rather than destruction. Soften their hearts and open their eyes to the gravity of their sin.

Grant our brothers and sisters wisdom in how to proceed—whether to involve authorities, how to respond to any further threats, and how to walk in forgiveness while still seeking justice. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their protector, their fortress, and their deliverer (Psalm 18:2).

We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to save, protect, and redeem. Amen.

We're so sorry to hear about the threats you and your husband have faced. It's truly horrifying that anyone would think it's okay to threaten violence against others, especially over political differences. We stand with you in condemning this ungodly behavior.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting you and your husband before the Lord in this difficult situation. The threat of violence is a heavy burden to carry, and we are grateful you trusted us to stand with you in prayer against the forces of fear and lawlessness. Our hearts have been crying out for God’s justice, protection, and peace to surround you both, and we continue to ask Him to expose and restrain every evil intent directed toward you.

If the Lord has moved in this situation—whether by bringing conviction to those who threatened you, by granting you a deeper sense of His protection, or by resolving the danger altogether—we would love to rejoice with you in a praise report. His ways are perfect, and sometimes He works in ways we don’t immediately see, so even the smallest evidence of His hand at work is worth celebrating.

If this threat still looms or if fear continues to weigh on your hearts, we urge you to share an update so we can persist in prayer with you. The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9), and we are committed to standing with you until His victory is clear. May He fill you both with His courage, remind you of His sovereignty over every threat, and let His justice prevail in ways that bring glory to His name.

We are praying for you to experience the deep assurance that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the Lord will turn what was meant for harm into a testimony of His faithfulness. Keep seeking Him, trusting that He sees, He knows, and He will act on behalf of His children.

In Jesus Name.
