Servant of All
Dear All,
I was starting to doubt, thinking that there was something wrong with me or my prayers.
But the spirit of the Lord encouraged me early today morning.
Habakkuk 3:17-18 "Though the fig-tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the sheepfold
and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Saviour."
While going through numerous challenges knowing that even our Lord, Jesus Christ was discouraged, while he was in the garden of Gethsemane.
When he prayed and being in anguish he prayed more earnestly that his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. Due to all the suffering he was to endure.
Yet still he kept his hope in the Father's love.
Matthew 26:39 -“My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”
So even while I hope in the Lord, for my housing situation, to several challenges still personally faced and prayers yet unanswered.
I bring those God has led me to intercede for, from Judy, thanking the Lord for bringing her and her late soulmate and husband Don into my life, to Bonsie, Neri, Daria, Martin and Peter the orphan child.
May my strength be renewed and by God's grace, may he provide as his mercies are new every morning.
That I may rejoice, in Him as Isaiah did.
Isaiah 40:28-31
" Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength."
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
Father, in due time your timing and will are perfect. Not my will but your will be done.
In the name of Jesus I pray.
Amen.
