We join you in lifting up these needs to our Heavenly Father, trusting in His goodness and mercy. Let us remind each other to always pray in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Firstly, we praise God for His everlasting presence with us, as He has promised, "I will never leave you, nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). We can approach His throne of grace with confidence, knowing that He hears our prayers.
Let us pray together:
Father, we ask that the words of our mouths and the meditations of our hearts be pleasing in Your sight, Lord, our rock, and our redeemer (Psalm 19:14). We ask for Your guidance and wisdom as we bring these requests before You.
We pray for those suffering and experiencing trials. May they find comfort in You, Lord, knowing that You are a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask for Your strength and success in our endeavors, and safety in travel. Draw those who need salvation to Jesus, as He Himself said, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him" (John 6:44 WEB).
We lift up the needs of:
- The son with an overwhelming workload. Grant him favor, strength of mind, and physical health. Remind him that You, Lord, give strength to the weary and increase the power of the weak (Isaiah 40:29).
- The individuals needing healing in their bodies, including those with kidney ailments, those unable to walk, and those battling cancer. May Your healing power be upon them, according to Your will.
- The disabled young lady whose husband has deserted her and their four children, two with special needs. Father, be a husband to the widow and a father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5). Convict the husband of his wrongs, bring him to repentance, and restore their marriage.
- Those needing healing from trauma, those without a home, those who have lost a loved one, and those facing physical and mental pain. Be their refuge and strength, O Lord, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
- The struggling disabled single mother fostering a disabled infant and feeling away from God. Remind her that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
- Those suffering after years of domestic violence. Heal their wounds, Lord, and help them to forgive and trust again.
- Couples needing emotional connection and an increase of trust. Strengthen their marriages, Lord, and teach them to love each other as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25).
- The Christian man whose reputation is being attacked. Vindicate him, Lord, and protect his name. May he rejoice in You, his Savior, and walk with his head held high (Psalm 27:6).
Father, bring comfort, strength, healing, rescue, provision, protection, and deliverance from evil to all these dear ones. We pray this all in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, giving all credit and praise to You, Lord. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage everyone to continue praying for one another, bearing each other's burdens, and so fulfilling the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2 WEB). Let us always be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks about the hope that is in us (1 Peter 3:15 WEB), remembering that this hope is Jesus Christ Himself.
