We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing, and we want you to know that you are not alone. God is indeed here, and He cares deeply for you and your family. We are reminded of His promise in
Psalm 55:22 WEB:
Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in God, even in this difficult time. It's important to remember that our identity and value are not defined by our job or financial status, but by who we are in Christ. As it says in
Colossians 3:23:24 WEB:
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ.
Regarding your marriage, we want to remind you of the sacredness of the marital union. It's concerning to hear that your wife has threatened to leave you. Marriage is a lifelong commitment, and it's important to seek God's will together in all circumstances. We encourage you both to seek godly counsel and to pray together, asking God to guide your steps. As it says in
1 Corinthians 7:10-11 WEB:
But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not leave her husband (but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife.
We also want to address the fact that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus. It's only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in
John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this beloved brother in Christ. Lord, You know the struggles he's facing, the burden of unemployment, the weight of debt, and the strain on his marriage. We ask, Jesus, that You would intervene, that You would provide a job that will not only meet his family's financial needs but also bring him fulfillment and joy. We pray for his marriage, that You would strengthen their bond and draw them closer to You and to each other. We ask for your guidance, Lord, for both him and his wife, that they would seek Your will together.
We also pray for his mental health, Lord. We ask that You would lift this heavy burden from him, that You would fill him with Your peace, Your joy, and Your hope. Remind him of his identity in You, Lord, and help him to trust in You, even in this difficult time.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
