Jesus, turn this morning around - come and bless me and my daughter ❤️ She seems to need something I can't figure out and everything is turning sour, Jesus - please help ground me and help me help her feel grounded, Jesus. Help me tell her about You, Jesus. Her father has told her You don't exist, so she gets angry when I tell her about You, Jesus - please help me show her who You are in ways that don't trigger her confusion from her father and loyalty to him, Jesus. Heal her heart from the hurt he has caused, and if I have caused any, forgive and heal that as well, Jesus ❤️ In Jesus name amen

We hear your cry this morning, and we lift you and your precious daughter up to the Lord with heavy hearts. You are carrying a weight that no parent should have to bear alone—the pain of seeing your child struggle, the frustration of not knowing how to help, and the deep longing for her to know the love of her Heavenly Father. We stand with you in this battle, declaring that this morning *will* be turned around by the power of Jesus Christ, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He sees your tears, hears your prayers, and is already at work in ways you cannot yet see.

First, we want to affirm your dependence on Jesus in this request. You rightly call upon His name, acknowledging that He alone has the power to intervene, heal, and restore. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Your daughter’s father may deny His existence, but the truth of Christ is not shaken by unbelief. The heavens declare His glory (Psalm 19:1), and His creation testifies to His reality. Even if she resists your words, the Holy Spirit can speak to her heart in ways that bypass her defenses—through nature, through kindness, through the peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We must also gently address the spiritual warfare at play here. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he is using your daughter’s father to sow seeds of confusion and rebellion in her heart. But we rebuke that spirit of deception in Jesus’ name! We declare that no weapon formed against your daughter will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray that the eyes of her heart would be enlightened to see the hope of her calling in Christ (Ephesians 1:18). Her loyalty to her father is understandable—children are wired to love and trust their parents—but that loyalty must not come at the cost of her soul. We pray that God would give her the courage to question what she has been taught and the hunger to seek truth for herself.

As for your role, mother, we encourage you to lead with grace and wisdom. Proverbs 22:6 tells us to "train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." But training is not just about words—it’s about modeling a life surrendered to Christ. Let your daughter see your faith in action: your prayers, your trust in God’s provision, your forgiveness toward those who hurt you, and your joy that is not dependent on circumstances. When she resists your words about Jesus, don’t force the conversation. Instead, pray for divine appointments—moments when the Holy Spirit opens her heart to receive. Ask God to give you creative ways to share His love, whether through serving others together, pointing out His handiwork in creation, or simply being a safe place for her to process her pain.

We also lift up the wounds in your daughter’s heart caused by her father’s words and actions. The Bible tells us that "a father of the fatherless... is God in his holy habitation" (Psalm 68:5). Even if her earthly father fails her, her Heavenly Father will never leave her nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5). We pray that God would reveal Himself to her as the perfect Father who loves her unconditionally, who sees her tears, and who longs to heal her broken places. And if you, in your own pain or frustration, have contributed to her hurt, we thank you for your humility in asking for forgiveness. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He will restore what has been lost.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this mother and her daughter to You. Lord Jesus, You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to pursue the one (Luke 15:4-6). We ask You to pursue this precious girl with Your relentless love. Break through the lies she has been told, and reveal Yourself to her in ways that are undeniable. Soften her heart, Lord, and give her a hunger for Your Word. We rebuke the spirit of deception that has blinded her to the truth, and we declare that her eyes will be opened to see You as You truly are—her Savior, her Healer, her Friend.

Father, we also pray for this mother. Strengthen her with Your might (Ephesians 3:16), and fill her with Your wisdom as she navigates this difficult season. Give her patience when her daughter resists, and give her creative ways to share Your love. Help her to model a life of faith that speaks louder than words. Lord, if there is any unforgiveness or bitterness in her heart toward her daughter’s father, we ask You to uproot it and replace it with Your peace. Heal any wounds she has unknowingly caused her daughter, and restore their relationship.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name (Philippians 2:9), the name by which every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). We trust You to turn this morning around, Lord. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18). We declare that this is not the end of the story—it is the beginning of a testimony of Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Hold fast to hope, dear one. The same God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Lazarus from the dead, and who conquered the grave is at work in your daughter’s life. Your prayers are not in vain. Keep loving her, keep praying for her, and keep trusting that God’s timing is perfect. "Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" (Galatians 6:9). You are not alone in this. We are standing with you, and more importantly, the Lord is fighting for you.

Dear friend, we're here with you, praying alongside you. We know it's tough seeing your daughter struggle, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed. But remember, God sees her, He hears her, and He's already at work in her life.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face, even in the midst of this storm. His love for her is unchanging, and His plans for her are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep trusting in Him, and keep sharing His love with her in every way you can.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up this mother and her daughter. Lord Jesus, You said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these' (Matthew 19:14). We ask You to draw this precious girl to Yourself. Open her heart to receive Your love, and reveal Yourself to her in powerful ways.

Father, we also pray for this mother. Strengthen her with Your Spirit, and fill her with Your wisdom. Help her to be patient, creative, and full of faith. Give her the words to speak and the actions to show Your love to her daughter.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
