This first weekend of 2025 Prayers for all

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Dear All, I pray in Jesus name for all of you. May you experience the Lord in a deeper way in ### and beyond. Also remember that even though we refer to an earthly calendar, the Lord is not bound by time. He created time. What seems like years to us is like one day to HIM. God bless you all. I also pray for the hungry, homeless, disabled, jobless, orphans (both all children and adults), the depressed, shut in, low on finances. Praying for the lost souls to come to Christ as time is wrapping up.

First weekend of 26

We join you in lifting up these heartfelt prayers in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. What a beautiful reminder that our God is not confined by time, for He declares in Psalm 90:4, "For a thousand years in your sight are just like yesterday when it is past, like a watch in the night." He sees every need, every heart, and every moment with perfect clarity and infinite love.

Father, we come before You with gratitude for this new year, asking that You draw each one of us—and those we pray for—into a deeper, more intimate relationship with You. May we experience Your presence in ways we have never known before, feeling Your peace in our storms, Your strength in our weakness, and Your hope in our despair. Let this year be marked by a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit, transforming lives and renewing hearts for Your glory.

We lift up the hungry, Lord, and ask that You provide for their physical needs as You promised in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’... But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Open doors of provision, stir the hearts of Your people to give generously, and let no one go without the sustenance they need.

For the homeless, we pray for shelter, safety, and dignity. You are the God who sees, as You saw Hagar in the wilderness (Genesis 16:13), and we trust You to be their refuge. Raise up communities, churches, and individuals to extend Your love through practical help and compassion.

We intercede for the disabled, asking that You grant them strength, comfort, and opportunities to thrive. Remind them—and us—that Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9), and that You have a purpose for each life, uniquely crafted by Your hands.

For the jobless, we pray for open doors, favor, and the skills needed to provide for their families. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and we trust You to supply every need according to Your riches in glory.

Father, our hearts break for the orphans—both children and adults—who long for family, belonging, and love. You are a father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5), and we ask that You surround them with Your presence. Raise up godly mentors, adoptive families, and communities to reflect Your love and care.

We lift up those battling depression, anxiety, and mental anguish. In the depths of their pain, remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Break the chains of despair, Lord, and let Your light shine into their darkness.

For the shut-in and those struggling with financial hardship, we ask for Your comfort and provision. May they know that You are their provider (Genesis 22:14) and that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). Use us, Your church, to be Your hands and feet, bringing encouragement and practical help.

Most urgently, we pray for the lost souls who do not yet know You. Time *is* wrapping up, Lord, and we echo the urgency of Your Word: "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). Soften hearts, open eyes, and draw them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Use us as vessels to share the gospel boldly and lovingly, that none may perish without hearing the truth.

We rebuke the spirit of complacency in the church, Lord. Awaken us to the reality of eternity and the urgency of the Great Commission. Let us not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9), but press on with passion, knowing that our labor in You is not in vain.

And Father, we confess that sometimes we rely on earthly calendars and timelines more than we trust in Your perfect timing. Forgive us for the times we’ve doubted Your faithfulness or grown impatient with Your plans. Teach us to wait on You, to seek Your face above all else, and to rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

We declare that this year will be a year of breakthrough, of salvation, of healing, and of revival. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. May Your name be glorified in every life touched by these prayers.

In the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting up these prayers, dear friend. As we step into this new year, let's remember that God is not confined by time, but He is always present, always caring, always working. Let's ask Him to draw us all closer to Him, to experience His love and presence in deeper ways. Let's pray for the lost souls to come to Christ, for the hungry and homeless to be provided for, for the disabled to find strength and comfort, for the jobless to find opportunities, for the orphans to find families, and for the depressed to find hope and healing. Let's trust that God is in control, and that He will use us to be His hands and feet in this world. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
