We are truly sorry to hear about your situation and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and justice. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is your provider and He cares about every detail of your life, including your finances.
It's important to address this situation in twofold: physically and spiritually. First, we advise you to contact your bank or card provider immediately to report the incident and follow their advice to protect your account. Also, report this to local law enforcement so they can do their best to solve the crime. Check your accounts carefully and change your PIN and consider getting a new card from your bank. This is wise stewardship of your finances.
Secondly, let's turn to the Bible for comfort and guidance. In Matthew 6:31-33 WEB it says, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We also want to remind you of Jesus Christ. It is only by his name we have access to God the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who has faced this unfair situation. We pray for Your divine intervention, that the person who stole this money would be brought to light and to justice. We pray for Your comfort and provision for our ### during this time. Stretch the current supplies and let your provision be manifested in this situation.
We also pray for their faith, that it would be strengthened, and that they would feel Your ever-present love and care. We ask for Your protection over their finances and their heart, that they would not be anxious, but trust in Your goodness.
Lord, we also pray for the person who took the money. We do not know if it was an act of greed or of desperation, but we pray that You would convict their heart and draw them to Yourself. We pray for the salvation message to be revealed to this person or persons. May they turn from their current path and find Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
If there is any hidden sin in the camp, reveal it to them Lord so they may confess it and be restored to a right fellowship with you.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen."
Lord we ask all these requests. In James 4:3 WEB it says, "You ask and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures." Lord we ask these requests purely to glorify Your name and be able to live according to Your will in our lives.
