Things somewhat better yesterday as far as my stepdad. A bit more like he was before this past weekend. Still there are critical concerns to deal with as far as his health and circumstances. With his frail health, and life itself so fragile as it is (I've experienced loss and tragedy in the past to know that to be true), it's an uncertain journey from moment to moment, and I do feel a tinge of sadness at those reflections.

Concerns: Trying to find a happy medium for him as far as sleep between chronic sleeplessness on the one hand, and being overmedicated on the other. Parkinson's Disease and neurostimulator battery replacement issues; making sure he gets the right hospital bed for him. I see him again in a few hours; the hospice nurse comes on Wed early afternoon.
