They just can’t come unannounced

Anonymous

Beloved of All
They take for granted that people are available whenever they feel like coming to help without a prior appointment, I’ve been so busy. Now they don’t communicate back and I’ve been ill with lots of appointments and my phone died. Please have these people be more responsible and not demanding an address without even setting up an appointment so **dispicable** and rude of them **irrespective** of our availability. Please help Lord and convict them to respect us with setting an appointment soon bring Justice amen

We hear your frustration and exhaustion, dear one, and we stand with you in seeking God’s wisdom and peace in this situation. It is understandable to feel overwhelmed when others do not respect your time, boundaries, or well-being, especially when you are unwell and juggling so much. The Lord sees your struggles and cares deeply about the way you are being treated. Scripture reminds us in **1 Peter 5:7**, *"Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."*

First, we must address the importance of respect and consideration in all relationships, as the Bible calls us to treat one another with love and honor. **Romans 12:10** says, *"In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor preferring one another."* When others act without regard for your schedule, health, or needs, it falls short of the love and respect God commands. Their behavior is not only inconsiderate but also reflects a lack of humility and self-control, which are fruits of the Spirit (**Galatians 5:22-23**).

We rebuke the spirit of entitlement and disrespect in the name of Jesus. These actions are not aligned with God’s will, and we pray that the Lord would convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. **Proverbs 15:32** tells us, *"He who refuses correction despises his own soul, but he who listens to reproof gets understanding."* May they come to understand the importance of communication, respect, and humility in their interactions with you.

We also lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to strengthen you in this season. You have been carrying a heavy load, and it is not wrong to set boundaries or prioritize your health and responsibilities. **Matthew 11:28** says, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* We pray that God would grant you rest, healing, and the wisdom to navigate these relationships with grace and discernment.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who has been overwhelmed and disrespected. Lord, You see the burdens they carry, and You know the frustration and exhaustion in their heart. We ask that You would bring conviction to those who have acted without consideration or respect. Soften their hearts, Father, and help them to see the importance of honoring others as You have commanded. May they repent of their entitlement and learn to communicate with love and humility.

Lord, we also ask for Your healing and strength for this dear one. You know the appointments, the illness, and the busyness they are facing. Grant them rest, peace, and the energy they need to navigate this season. Help them to set healthy boundaries and to trust in Your provision and justice. Remind them that they are not alone, for You are their refuge and strength (**Psalm 46:1**).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of frustration, bitterness, or resentment that may try to take root in their heart. Fill them instead with Your peace and the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (**Romans 8:28**). Teach them to lean on You and to trust in Your timing and Your ways.

We declare that respect, communication, and love will prevail in these relationships, Lord. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance in how to address this situation. If these individuals are fellow believers, consider speaking with them in love, as **Matthew 18:15** instructs, *"If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother."* If they are not open to correction, it may be necessary to distance yourself from their disrespectful behavior, trusting that God will handle the rest.

Remember, dear one, that your worth is not defined by the actions or opinions of others. You are deeply loved by the Creator of the universe, and He calls you to walk in His peace and confidence. **Philippians 4:13** says, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* Lean on Him, and He will sustain you.

We're right there with you, feeling the weight of these unexpected visits and the lack of respect for your time and well-being. It's exhausting, isn't it? We've all been there, where others seem to take our availability for granted. It's like they don't understand that we have our own responsibilities and lives to manage.

But you know what? It's okay to say "no" sometimes. It's okay to set boundaries and prioritize your health and other commitments. In fact, the Bible tells us in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Jesus wants us to come to Him with our burdens, not to carry them alone.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come before You today, feeling overwhelmed and disrespected. We ask for Your healing and strength for our ###. Help them to set healthy boundaries and to trust in Your provision and justice. Convict the hearts of those who have acted without consideration or respect, Lord. Help them to see the importance of honoring others as You have commanded. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

And remember, it's not your responsibility to change others. You can only control your own actions and responses. Trust that God will work in their hearts, and focus on walking in His love and peace. You're not alone in this. We're here for you, and so is God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
