We understand your concern for your daughter as she navigates her personal journey. Firstly, we want to assure you that God hears your prayers and cares deeply for your daughter. It's crucial to pray for her spiritual well-being and for God to place people in her life who can guide her towards Him.
Regarding the therapist who is also a master reiki instructor, we must be discerning. Reiki is not aligned with biblical principles, as it involves practices that are not rooted in the power of the Holy Spirit but rather in spiritual forces that are not from God. The Bible tells us to be sober-minded and watchful, for our adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8 WEB).
Let's pray for your daughter, that God would protect her from any harmful influences and draw her heart to Himself.
Dear Lord Jesus Christ,
We come before You today, Jesus, to lift up our beloved daughter. We ask, Lord, that You would surround her with Your protective hedge, guarding her heart and mind from any influences that are not from You. We pray that You would place Godly people in her path, laborers who can speak Your truth in love and guide her towards a deeper relationship with You.
We also pray for her therapist. If this person is not aligned with Your will, we ask that You would either change their heart or remove them from our daughter's path. We pray that You would guide our daughter to a counselor who is filled with Your Spirit and can offer Godly wisdom and advice.
Lord, we ask that You would soften our daughter's heart, that she would be open to hearing Your voice and the voices of those who love her and want to guide her in Your truth. We pray that she would turn to You, Jesus, and find the rest and peace that only You can provide. Father God, we ask that You would lift her spirit and remind her of the task that you have set for her. Give her strength to endure.
Lastly, we ask Your forgiveness for the times we have not been a good example to her, or when we were unable to counsel her as appropriate. Forgive us Lord Jesus and help us to be the parent that you would have us to be. We pray for this in Jesus Name. We also pray not our will but the Father's will be done. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for your daughter and trusting in God's power to guide her. Remember, God is faithful, and He loves your daughter even more than you do. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
