Then is it fair for them to mocked and ridicule me

Faithful Servant
Then is it fair for them (my friends) to mocked and ridicule me so and pushed all the blame to me where it is not my fault. Doesn't Jesus punish them.

We understand how deeply painful it is to endure mockery, ridicule, and unfair blame from those you considered friends. The heartache of betrayal and injustice is real, and we want you to know that God sees every tear you’ve shed and every wound inflicted upon you. The Bible assures us that the Lord is a just God who will not allow the wicked to go unpunished forever. In Deuteronomy 32:35, it is written, *"Vengeance is mine, and recompense, at the time when their foot slides; for the day of their calamity is at hand. The things that are to come on them shall make haste."* And in Romans 12:19, we are reminded, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*

However, this does not mean we sit idly in bitterness or resentment. Instead, we are called to respond with grace, forgiveness, and trust in God’s timing. Jesus Himself endured mockery, betrayal, and unjust suffering, yet He responded with love and forgiveness. In 1 Peter 2:23, we read, *"When he was cursed, he didn’t curse back. When he suffered, he didn’t threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously."* Our Lord understands your pain, and He calls you to entrust your hurt to Him, knowing that He will bring justice in His perfect way and time.

That said, we must also examine our own hearts. Are there areas where we might have contributed—even unintentionally—to the conflict? Not to assign blame where it doesn’t belong, but to ensure we are walking in humility and righteousness. Proverbs 15:1 tells us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* If there is any room for reconciliation or a godly response on your part, we encourage you to seek it, not for their sake alone, but for your own peace and obedience to Christ.

Yet, if these "friends" persist in their harmful behavior, it may be time to reevaluate these relationships. Proverbs 22:24-25 warns, *"Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul."* True friendship should build you up in Christ, not tear you down. Surround yourself with those who reflect the love of Jesus and speak life into your spirit.

As for whether Jesus will punish them—yes, God’s justice is certain. But His desire is always for repentance first. In 2 Peter 3:9, we’re told, *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance."* So while we trust in God’s justice, we also pray for their hearts to turn to Him in genuine repentance.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are the God of all comfort and justice. Lord, You see the pain they’ve endured at the hands of those who were supposed to be friends. You know the weight of unfair blame and the sting of mockery. We ask that You would surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and remind them that their worth is found in You alone.

Father, we pray for healing over the wounds inflicted by these relationships. Restore their trust in godly friendships and grant them discernment to recognize those who truly walk in Your love. If there is any area where they need to extend forgiveness, give them the strength to do so, not because it is deserved, but because You have forgiven us so much more.

We also pray for those who have mocked and blamed unjustly. Lord, soften their hearts. Convict them of their words and actions, and draw them to repentance. If it is Your will, restore these relationships in a way that honors You. But if not, give our brother/sister the courage to walk away and the wisdom to seek friendships that reflect Your love and truth.

Finally, Lord, we ask for Your justice to prevail. You are a righteous judge, and we trust that You will repay according to Your perfect will. Until then, help them to release this burden into Your hands and to focus on walking in obedience and love.

We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who endured the cross for our sake and understands our every pain. Amen.

We also want to encourage you to meditate on Psalm 37, which speaks directly to the temptation to fret over evildoers. Verses 5-6 say, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."* Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Stay rooted in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with believers who will uplift you in truth. You are not alone in this—we are standing with you in prayer.

We're right there with you, feeling the sting of unfair mockery and blame from those who were once considered friends. It's tough, and we're sorry you're going through this. But remember, Jesus said, "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me" (Matthew 5:11). He knows your pain, and He's walking through this with you.

Let's not forget, Jesus told us, "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you" (Matthew 5:44). It's hard, we know, but holding onto bitterness only hurts us more. Instead, let's entrust this to God. He sees everything, and He promises to make all things right in His perfect timing.

We're praying for you, that you'd find comfort in God's embrace, courage to forgive as He has forgiven us, and wisdom to know when to hold onto hope for restoration and when to let go for your own peace. And yes, we're believing for justice, but we're also believing for hearts to turn to God.

Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, trust in His love, and keep walking in obedience. We're here for you, praying and believing with you.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift you up in prayer during this painful season of betrayal and false accusation. Our hearts have continued to ache with yours over these past days, knowing how deeply it wounds when those we trust turn against us with mockery and blame. We’ve been praying earnestly that the Lord would be your Defender, your Comforter, and your Vindicator—asking Him to guard your heart from bitterness while reminding you that He sees every injustice and will one day make all things right.

If the Lord has brought you even a measure of peace or clarity in this, we’d love to rejoice with you in a praise report. Has He spoken to your heart through His Word or the encouragement of a believer? Have you sensed His presence carrying you when the weight felt too heavy? Share it with us, so we can give Him glory together.

If the sting of their words and actions still feels raw, and the questions of “Why?” and “How long?” linger, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We will keep standing with you in prayer, asking the Lord to replace your hurt with His healing, your anger with His justice, and your loneliness with the assurance that He is near to the brokenhearted. You are not forgotten—by Him or by us.

May the God of all comfort wrap you in His love as you cling to Jesus, the One who was despised and rejected yet entrusted Himself to the Father who judges justly. We are here, praying for you still. In Jesus’ name.
