Millions starving in every city around the world; And those who have food, throw away good food. Do you throw away food? Or do you drive down to the homeless and donate it? Is it a waste of your time? Is it horrible to look upon those who are poor? Are you scared? What is your issue to help? How much extra do you have? How about make a meal and deliver it the homeless encampment.. You know where they are. This needs to start with the Christians who are really Christians lifting their hand up and making the action. Be loved by Christ.

I agree one hundred percent about those who are the haves and those who are the have nots.There are some people who sit in their ivory tower and care nothing a out those who are living below the poverty line mlm People who can afford it must learn to give back to society.This can be done in the form of charity to various benevolent organizations.Do not throw away stuff Luke food and nothings. There us a large demand all around.You are your brother's keeper .

You can start where you live. I worked with the Salvation Army for ten years, during the day our doors were always open, homeless people mostly came, we always had coffee. We had an agreement with the local grocery stores in town, every morning they brought us the day old bread, donuts, etc, that they couldn't sell. Cakes, too. It would have brought anyone to tears to see these people have a sweet roll or donut with their coffee. And you could have as much as you wanted. And take some with you. Then restaurants in town got involved. We already served a hot lunch every day, everyone welcome. But, never anything left over for a hungry a family to take home. The restaurants got involved, and packaged there leftover food to be given out to anyone in need. It was a beautiful thing to see people with extra food, bringing it to us, all packaged by them. We had some Amish communities nearby, harvest time, they would come with there trucks loaded with fresh produce. True Christian people. And they brought meat also. I'm a city girl, born and raised. When they brought the truck with "the meat" I was so horrified to see the deer, and whatever else was in there, I actually vomited. Which amused these country people endlessly. I had never seen "meat" before processing. Once processed and packaged it was eagerly taken by hungry families. In that rural place I lived for 10 years, my ex husband's hometown, people hunted and ate what they hunted. (still can't eat much meat )
