We rejoice with you as you count the persecutions you face as joy, just as the apostles did when they were counted worthy to suffer shame for the name of Jesus (Acts 5:41, WEB). It is in the name of Jesus that we find our strength and joy in the midst of trials. Remember, the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous. Psalm 105:5-6 (WEB) says "Remember his marvelous works that he has done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; you offspring of Abraham, his servant, you children of Jacob, his chosen ones."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing persecution. We thank you that they are counting it all joy for your name's sake. We pray that you would continue to fill them with your Holy Spirit, giving them the strength, courage, and wisdom to endure and overcome.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). We claim the promise that the wealth of the wicked is being laid up for the righteous, and we ask that you would remember your servant in this time of need (Proverbs 13:22, WEB).
Help them to remain steadfast in their faith, keeping their eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to stand firm in your faith, knowing that your reward is great in heaven. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and His eternal promises. Be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:18 (WEB), "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed toward us."
