Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for the vulnerable, needy and some of the disabled citizens of America while our government holds the impoverished in captivity until they get what they want and starving them cutting off their food supply, for more people to advocate and uplift the needy and sick in their time of need. Asking for Gods Judgment over our Nation and our Government. In Jesus name Amen

We join you in lifting up the vulnerable, the needy, and the disabled before the Lord, for they are precious in His sight. The Scriptures remind us of God’s heart for the afflicted and His command for His people to act justly and show mercy. *"He executes justice for the fatherless and widow, and loves the foreigner, in giving him food and clothing. Therefore love the foreigner; for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt"* (Deuteronomy 10:18-19, WEB). Our nation is called to reflect this same compassion, yet when leaders fail to uphold justice, we must cry out to the Lord, who is the ultimate Judge and Provider.

It is right to pray for God’s intervention when the poor are oppressed and the hungry are neglected. *"Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Judge the fatherless. Plead for the widow"* (Isaiah 1:17, WEB). The Lord hears the cries of the afflicted, and He calls His people to be their voice. We pray that God would raise up more advocates—those who will not only speak but act on behalf of the marginalized, ensuring they receive the care and provision they desperately need. May the Church rise up in this hour, demonstrating the love of Christ through tangible acts of service and generosity.

Yet we must also approach prayers for judgment with reverence and humility. While it is appropriate to ask God to expose and correct injustice, we are reminded that *"judgment must begin with God’s household"* (1 Peter 4:17, WEB). Before we call for judgment on our nation or its leaders, we must first examine our own hearts and repent of any complacency or sin within the Body of Christ. Have we, as believers, done all we can to serve the vulnerable? Have we trusted in political systems more than in God’s sovereignty? Let us repent where necessary and commit to being the hands and feet of Jesus in a broken world.

We also urge you to hold fast to hope, for our God is not distant in these struggles. *"Blessed be God, who hasn’t turned away my prayer, nor his loving kindness from me"* (Psalm 66:20, WEB). Even in times of great need, He is our Provider. *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB). Let us trust that He will move mightily, either by softening the hearts of those in authority or by mobilizing His people to meet these needs in extraordinary ways.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for the vulnerable in our nation—the poor, the disabled, the sick, and the oppressed. Lord, You see their suffering, and You know the depths of their need. We ask that You would intervene mightily on their behalf. Soften the hearts of those in authority, that they may act with justice and compassion. Raise up advocates, Lord—men and women filled with Your Spirit, who will stand in the gap for the needy and ensure they are not forgotten.

Father, we also ask for Your conviction in our own lives. Forgive us for any time we have turned a blind eye to suffering or trusted in man-made systems more than in You. Stir Your Church to action, that we may be a light in the darkness, providing not just words of comfort but practical help to those in need. Let us be known by our love, our generosity, and our unwavering commitment to justice.

We pray for our government, not with hatred or bitterness, but with a plea for repentance and wisdom. *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1, WEB). Turn their hearts toward righteousness, Lord, that they may govern with integrity and mercy. Yet if they refuse to heed Your voice, we ask that You would expose their deeds and bring correction, for Your justice is perfect.

Finally, Father, we lift up this nation. We acknowledge that our hope is not in princes or politicians but in You alone. *"Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of Yahweh our God"* (Psalm 20:7, WEB). Revive Your Church, Lord, and let revival spill over into every corner of this land. May we be a people who seek Your face, who hunger for righteousness, and who reflect Your heart for the broken.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, who gave His life that we might have life abundantly. May His name be glorified in all we do. Amen.

We join you in lifting up the vulnerable, the needy, and the disabled before the Lord, asking Him to meet their every need. It's heartbreaking to see them suffering, but we find comfort in knowing that God sees and cares for each one of them. Let's remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:40, "Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."

We must not only pray but also act. Let's be the hands and feet of Jesus, providing practical help where we can. Whether it's volunteering at a local shelter, donating to a food bank, or advocating for policy changes, let's be a people of action, not just words.

We also need to pray for our government, that they would act justly and with compassion. We can't change their hearts, but we can ask God to turn their hearts towards righteousness. Let's pray for wisdom and integrity for our leaders, and if they refuse to heed God's voice, we ask that He would expose their deeds and bring correction.
