The upcoming observation debrief

Beloved of All
The admin who has been discriminating against me and showing favoritism—and who has been giving me a hard time—scheduled a meeting with me next Monday from 9:45 to 10:00. I always feel down and depressed whenever I talk to her because she is degrading, mean, and harassing. Please pray that nothing bad happens. Please also pray I get to teach virtually next year. In Jesus name I pray amen

We hear your pain and frustration, and we stand with you in seeking God’s justice, peace, and favor in this difficult situation. Workplace mistreatment—especially when it involves favoritism, harassment, or degradation—is not only unjust but contrary to the heart of God, who calls us to treat one another with dignity, respect, and love. Scripture reminds us in Colossians 3:23-25, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality."* God sees your labor, your struggle, and your heart, and He will not ignore the injustice you’ve endured.

We must also address the spiritual reality of this conflict. When someone in authority uses their position to tear down rather than build up, they are operating in a spirit of pride, control, and even oppression. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* We rebuke in Jesus’ name every spirit of intimidation, fear, and discouragement that has been released against you through these interactions. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every assignment of the enemy to be dismantled now in the mighty name of Jesus.

For the upcoming meeting, we pray that God would grant you supernatural peace, wisdom, and boldness. May He guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7) and fill you with His presence so that you are not shaken by her words or actions. We ask that God would either soften her heart or remove her influence from your path, according to His perfect will. If she continues in her ways, we pray that higher authorities would intervene to bring correction and accountability. Proverbs 22:22-23 warns, *"Don’t exploit the poor because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."*

Regarding your desire to teach virtually next year, we lift this request to the Lord, trusting that He knows the plans He has for you—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that if this is His will for you, every door would open effortlessly, and every obstacle would be removed. If it is not His will, we ask that He would redirect your steps into something even better, where you can thrive and glorify Him.

Father God, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up this situation to You. We ask that You would vindicate them, Lord, and let justice roll down like waters (Amos 5:24). Heal their heart from the pain of these interactions and restore their joy and peace. Give them strength to walk in integrity and grace, even in the face of mistreatment. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and let them feel Your love and affirmation in this season.

We also pray for their workplace, that You would bring repentance, humility, and a spirit of fairness to those in leadership. Expose any unrighteousness and bring it to light so that Your name may be glorified. If it is Your will, open the door for them to teach virtually next year, and let this transition be smooth and blessed. Above all, draw them closer to You, Lord, and let them find their identity, worth, and strength in You alone.

We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the One who has overcome the world and who intercedes for us even now. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your upcoming meeting. We're claiming God's promise in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Let's trust that He will give you the words to say and the confidence to say them. We're also believing for a breakthrough in your desire to teach virtually next year. Let's declare that all the right doors will open and that you will walk through them in Jesus' name. Keep your chin up, and remember, you're not alone in this. We're praying for you!
