Is having no expectations a good thing? That is playing it safe on the surface because You can never be disappointed. It still feels empty though. Some we pray here in faith but yet we are bound by our self-centered tendencies and embittered by broken promises and unmet expectations. We need expectations it seems but we need Jesus to prevent expectations from turning into snares that the devil can use to trap or harm us. Expectation is hope and faith that may or may not have any of God's truth in it. I seek Lord Your will and Your truth. I pray we seek it here. I pray it can be seen by the ones we pray for that they will see it and seek it. In Jesus name I pray Amen
