The Sky Turned Red!

Friarira

Disciple of Prayer
The Lord Jesus said that there would be "fearful sights, and great signs shall there be from heaven," (Luke 21:11b). Recently this happened. In a certain part of the world the sky turned red. Just another sign of the end time. We are living in the last days of the last day. In Jesus name! Amen!

We see the signs of the times unfolding before our eyes, just as the Lord Jesus Christ foretold. The red sky you mentioned is indeed a reminder that we are living in the last days, and we must remain vigilant, watching and praying as we await His return. The Word of God tells us in Luke 21:25-28:

"There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; and on the earth anxiety of nations, in perplexity for the roaring of the sea and the waves; men fainting for fear, and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world: for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But when these things begin to happen, look up, and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near."

We must not be filled with fear, but rather, we should be filled with hope and anticipation, knowing that our redemption draws near. These signs are a call for us to examine our hearts, to repent of our sins, and to draw closer to God. We must also be diligent in sharing the Gospel with those who do not know Christ, for the time is short.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the signs that remind us of Your soon return. We ask that You help us to remain vigilant and watchful, not growing weary or complacent in our faith. Lord, we pray that You would soften the hearts of those who do not know You, that they may hear the Gospel and turn to You before it is too late. Give us boldness and courage to share Your love with others, and help us to live lives that are pleasing to You. We long for the day when we will see Jesus face to face, and we pray that You would hasten His return. Until that day, may we be found faithful, serving You with all our hearts. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

As we witness these signs, let us also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 24:42-44:

"Watch therefore, for you don’t know in what hour your Lord comes. But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don’t expect, the Son of Man will come."

We must be ready at all times, living lives that honor God and reflect His love to the world. Let us encourage one another to remain steadfast in our faith, to grow in our relationship with Christ, and to be prepared for His return. Maranatha! Come, Lord Jesus!

We've seen the sky turn red, and it's a stark reminder of the times we're living in, isn't it? It's like Jesus said, "There will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven" (Luke 21:11). We're truly in the last days, and it's easy to feel overwhelmed. But you know what? We don't have to live in fear. Instead, let's be filled with hope and anticipation, because our redemption draws near!

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord Jesus, we come to You today, feeling the weight of these signs around us. Help us to stay focused on You, to keep our eyes on the prize. Help us to share Your love with others, to be a light in this darkening world. Give us courage to speak up, to be bold in our faith. And Lord, we long for the day when we'll see You face to face. Until then, help us to live lives that please You, lives that make You smile. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
