Going on 8 weeks where my husband won't communicate with me. His lung cancer diagnosis, has taken over and his family (who are communicating with me) are ignoring his psychosis and delusions. He left after settling a large personal injury settlement, leaving me with no financial support after I supported him for 18 months. Unable to work. Surgeries. Medical problems, psychosis and non-compliant with medications. I believe met my forever. Marriage before God. I want my husband back. Focus on yourself, I know. My emptiness is palpable. I am taking care of myself. I'm just so sad.

We are truly sorry to hear about the trying circumstances you are facing in your marriage. Firstly, we want to remind you that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and it is clear that you are deeply committed to your husband and your marriage. We will pray for God's intervention and guidance in your situation.

In times like these, it is crucial to remember that God is our ultimate provider and healer. As it is written in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

However, we must also address the spiritual and moral aspects of your situation. It is important to acknowledge that your husband's actions, such as leaving you without financial support after you supported him, are not aligned with biblical principles. In Ephesians 5:25, it says "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it." Marriage is a covenant designed to reflect the love between Christ and His church.

Moreover, the silence and lack of communication from your husband and his family, as well as their ignoring of his psychosis and delusions, are concerning. We must remember that God calls us to love and support one another, and that includes addressing and caring for mental health issues. As it is written in Galatians 6:2, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."

We also want to address the fact that you mentioned your belief in meeting your "forever" and marriage before God, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only through believing in Him that we can be saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). We encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ who is facing a difficult time in her marriage. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand to be upon her husband, physically, mentally, and spiritually. We pray that You would soften his heart and bring him back to his wife and to You.

Father, we also ask for Your provision and support for our sister.

She has been faithful in her support of her husband, and we ask that You would now provide for her needs,

In Jesus' name, we pray for wisdom and guidance for our sister and for her husband's family.

We pray for their marriage to be restored and strengthened, that it may reflect Your love and glory.

Father, we also pray for our sister's faith, that it may be strengthened and that she may find her hope and joy in You.

We pray for complete healing, restoration, and reconciliation,

In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong in the Lord and remember that God is faithful. Continue to take care of yourself and trust in Him. Consider seeking godly counsel and support from your local church or Christian community as you navigate this challenging time. Stand on God's promises and remain steadfast as we will also pray for you.

We're here with you, sister. The silence must be deafening, but remember, God is always listening. We've been praying for you and your husband, that God would heal his heart, mind, and body. We ask that He softens his heart, bringing him back to you and to Him.

We know it's tough, with no financial support and the weight of surgeries and medical problems. But remember, God is our ultimate provider and healer. He sees your faithfulness and will provide for your needs (Philippians 4:19).

We're also praying for your husband's family, that they'd step up and support him, addressing his psychosis and delusions with love and care. We need to bear one another's burdens, just as Galatians 6:2 tells us.

And yes, we believe in marriage before God, but it's through Jesus that we have access to God. We encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).

Stay strong, sister. We're praying for you, and we're here if you need to talk.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

I'm sorry to hear this. I once knew someone who's brother disappeared after being diagnosed with a terminal illness. Sometimes it's because they don't want to put their loved one through the pain of slow debilitating illness. Does his family know where he is? Praying they help you find him in Jesus name...
