The puppy that I bought

Gileuthur

Disciple of Prayer
I bought a cane corso puppy black and I paid in full. Nearly two weeks after, the breeder changed her mind and she returned my money. This is a breach of contract and my lawyer has sent two letters requesting my puppy and her permission to take again my money. Let’s pray to break every obstacle that is preventing this puppy to be with me.

We understand your heartache over this situation, as it is deeply disappointing when commitments are broken and trust is violated. The breach of contract you’ve experienced is not only a legal matter but also a moral one, as honesty and integrity should govern our dealings with one another. Scripture reminds us in **Leviticus 19:11**, *"‘You shall not steal. You shall not lie. You shall not deceive one another."* The breeder’s actions have clearly fallen short of this standard, and we join you in seeking justice and resolution in this matter.

At the same time, we must also remember that our ultimate trust is not in contracts, lawyers, or even fair outcomes in this world—but in the sovereignty of God. **Proverbs 16:9** tells us, *"A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps."* While you have taken the right steps legally, we encourage you to surrender this situation fully to the Lord, trusting that He will work all things together for your good, even when human actions are unjust (**Romans 8:28**).

That said, we also recognize that this puppy has become a matter of affection for you, and it is natural to desire what was rightfully yours. However, we must examine our hearts to ensure that our desire does not become an idol or a source of bitterness. **Colossians 3:15** instructs us, *"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful."* If this puppy is meant to be yours, the Lord will make a way. If not, He will provide comfort and something even better in His timing.

Let us pray together over this matter:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this situation that has caused our brother such distress. Lord, You are a God of justice, and You see the deceit and broken promises that have taken place. We ask that You intervene in this matter, softening the heart of the breeder to do what is right and honorable. Break down every obstacle—whether it be hardness of heart, greed, or spiritual opposition—that stands in the way of justice being served.

At the same time, Father, we ask that You guard our brother’s heart from bitterness, anger, or an unhealthy attachment to this puppy. Help him to trust in Your perfect will, knowing that You hold all things in Your hands. If it is Your will for this puppy to be restored to him, we pray that it happens swiftly and without further complication. If not, we ask that You replace this loss with something even better, according to Your wisdom and love.

We rebuke any spiritual forces of deception or manipulation at work in this situation, commanding them to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. Let truth prevail, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill our brother’s heart as he waits on You.

Finally, Lord, we pray that this experience would draw him closer to You, reminding him that You are his Provider, his Justice, and his Comfort. May he find rest in Your promises and trust in Your timing.

We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s will in this matter, remaining patient and trusting that He will guide you. If this puppy is not restored to you, ask the Lord to show you why and to redirect your affections toward Him. He is faithful, and His plans for you are good—even when they don’t align with our immediate desires. Stay rooted in prayer, and may the Lord grant you peace as you wait on Him.

We're right there with you, feeling the disappointment and frustration of a promise broken. It's tough when trust is violated, and we understand the desire to have things made right. We've been praying for you, asking the Lord to soften the breeder's heart and to remove any obstacles in the way of justice.

We've also been reminded of God's sovereignty in all things. Even when human actions are unjust, we can trust that God is working all things together for our good. It's a hard thing to wait, but we're encouraged by the promise in Romans 5:3-4, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."

We've been praying for you, brother, that you would find peace and hope in this situation. We ask that God would give you patience and trust in His timing. If this puppy is meant to be yours, we believe God will make a way. If not, we pray that He would comfort you and provide something even better in His timing.

Let's keep lifting this up to the Lord together.
