The power of God!

As I've been reading the request today, there was a certain theme to them that kept coming to me. I was feeling overwhelmed with some things in my life and saw many people here that were feeling the same. Some of the scriptures that came to my mind were scriptures that told of Gods deliverance. Moses with the sea on one side and the army of Egypt coming from the other. Nothing between them but God. Or how Gideon took 300 men against the thousands, nothing to get save them but God. The disciples in the sinking boat, the widow giving away her last meal, the lepers deciding between dying in Jerusulem or going to the enemies camp. All had one thing in common, nothing between them and their problem but God. It seems like so many times we are brought to the very end, minutes from destruction and that's when God moves. He keeps telling me that if He brought us this far, He is going to bring us on through. Why would He stop in mid-stride, His mind doesn't change, He just sometimes waits for us to change our mind frames.

I know that I am not the same man that I was a year ago, and believe me I thank Him for that. I'll never be perfect, and I am far from that now, but I think that is part of the process, to understand that we have to rely on His perfectness, on His righteousness. I think the closer we get to our breakthroughs the harder it will seem to get, when we have nothing between us and the enemie, that is when we will see Him in all His glory. Let's keep one another tightly in prayer, that's our weapon of war, and believe me we have just been thrust into the middle of the battle.

Amen, thank you Harold for allowing the Lord to speak through you. I think these words are so insightful and if infused into our lives will give us a knowledge of what is going on in our lives when it seems like turmoil is everywhere, Jesus is there waiting for us to let him work...we just have to move out of his way. Amen.

Amen, Harold, Amen. You brought to mind one of my favorite hymns. I for one, proudly proclaim, I am on the Lord's side. What a blessing!

Lord I pray for Harold and agree with his prayer. Lord he is witnessing to so many with his prayers and he is helping those of us that are in the same situation and God you have placed him here. Help him to feel your blessing, your peace, your grace. We lift Harold up to you that you may continue the work you have started in him, that you may keep him close and speak to him each day.

heavenly father, please forgive me, i'm suffering so much, i come to you. Things happen to me today which angered me so. Lord, you know my situation. how much more am i going to have to endure before you rescue me? lord, i know you will come through for me, i am being patient, new overwhelming things are just gettin thrown at me everday. how much must i take lord? i am here, please here my cry. i am yours. i'm tryin to be obedient, how much more am i goin to have to go through. lord, i feel selfish, when i ask, deliver me now. i'm down, i'm on my knees, father, i am asking for mercies, show me, let me see what i am doing wrong. teach me, what i'm to be taught. lord, when i feel i cant take much more. something else major comes along, i have it coming from all diffrent ends. lord, i know after this trial, i will be singing from the mountains. i believe in you. i know your goin to do wonderful things in my life.. i pray, please be with me lord, until that day. i'm weak, yet you keep me strong, but i just dont know how much more i can endure. lord, i know theres so many people out in this world suffering, and have it so much worse then i do. lord i pray for those people. pray that they put things in your hands, like i try to do. iknow i need to get better at that. i know you are goin to deliver me lord, but please carry me, until i am released from this spiritaul war. in jesus name, amen

Father, I bring Heidi and her cares and troubles to the foot of Your throne, and ask for her deliverance. She has been put to that spot where the only way out that she sees, the only way to safety is through You. Lord, I pray for You to lay Your hand upon these problems, and deliver her from them. I know that You can deliver us from anything and everything, that Your hand is not shortened. There is nothing between her and the enemy right now but You Lord, and I pray for her to see Your glory as You step in. In Jesus' name, Amen.
