The Lord's say's take up your cross and follow me.... The other night my husband can't control his anger management towards me he hurt my feelings and my daughter too he says disrespectful words as a wife, as a human what really hurt for me is my daughter. I've been struggling with this for a long time. I really wanted to divorce him but because of the situations and considered my daughter's condition, schools, I need to stay. Please pray for me that I will receive God's blessings, the right decision, and the best for us. I need to move on. I know God has a greater plan for me. I've been in this marriage for more than twelve years and suffered mentally, emotionally.

Dear Heavenly Father as I come to you Lord I ask that you grant this request according to you will. Lord I ask this in Jesus name. Amen.

Dear ###,

I truly sympathize with what you are going through, and I would like to recommend you a little book. It is called "Keeping the Faith Guidance for Christian Women Facing Abuse" by ###.

I urge you to look for help. I don't know in which country you are, but you can find in Google an organization that helps abused women in your country. They will help you with everything in a secret way. They can even house you if you choose to flee.

Please, do not be ashamed. It is NOT your fault ! Nothing, nothing at all justifies abuse. We never believe bad things can happen to us, but they do. The rate of abused women's killing is very high. You have to think of your safety, of your children's safety.

Psalm 55:12-14 says:

" It is not an enemy who taunts me - then I could bear it; it is not an adversary who deals insolently with me - then I could hide from him.

But it is you, my equal, my companion, my familiar friend.

We used to hold sweet converse together;

within God's house we walked in fellowship."

When I first read the above, I couldn't believe it was in the Bible. I thought someone had changed that, written it only for me. NO, my friend! Our awesome Lord knows everything, He had written that for me, for you. He loves you! You are His daughter. You have your name written on the palm of God's hand.

"See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands." Isaiah 49:16a

No,it is NOT your fault that you have been mistreated and God doesn't want that for you !

Jesus said in John 10:10:

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."

Here Jesus is saying that some people come only to hurt and destroy others( like your husband in this case, for example), but that is not what Jesus wants. Jesus came so that we have fullness of life and feel safe and happy.

So, Jesus is not happy about what your husband is doing to you, and you don't need to be there, suffering.

Look for help and don't accept to go back until your husband proves that he has changed.

With God, everything is possible, but having lived among women who have been abused, and having being abused myself more than once, I can tell you that usually an abuser will be always an abuser it doesn't matter which course he attends, what words he says, what promises he makes.

Abusers want to diminish us, so that they can seem better on his own eyes, feel better.

Also, some people who have a good husband, and can't imagine what we go through, will look down on us. They are prejudiced, they think and make us think it is our fault. IT IS NOT !!!

Be aware that there are pastors who will not believe you, who will tell you to stay in the marriage, to go back as it is your duty to be there, to keep the marriage going. My friend, I asked the help from a pastor that acted exactly like that and I almost ended up killed.

Christ died on the cross for you. He loves you. He wants you to be happy and make your children happy. Your children need you.

Please, be careful. Plan a scape route secretly. Put some clothes together, documents, and go to a place where you are safe. A Women's shelter. It is not bad, it is not terrible. Don't worry. The Lord will take care of you.

"25“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his lifeb?" Matthew 6: 25-26

I would like to leave you with a Psalm that was a great help for me. I used to pray it often.

<< Psalm 35 >>
A psalm of David.

1O LORD, oppose those who oppose me.

Fight those who fight against me.

2Put on your armor, and take up your shield.

Prepare for battle, and come to my aid.

3Lift up your spear and javelin

against those who pursue me.

Let me hear you say,

“I will give you victory!â€

4Bring shame and disgrace on those trying to kill me;

turn them back and humiliate those who want to harm me.

5Blow them away like chaff in the wind—

a wind sent by the angel of the LORD.

6Make their path dark and slippery,

with the angel of the LORD pursuing them.

7I did them no wrong, but they laid a trap for me.

I did them no wrong, but they dug a pit to catch me.

8So let sudden ruin come upon them!

Let them be caught in the trap they set for me!

Let them be destroyed in the pit they dug for me.

9Then I will rejoice in the LORD.

I will be glad because he rescues me.

10With every bone in my body I will praise him:

“LORD, who can compare with you?

Who else rescues the helpless from the strong?

Who else protects the helpless and poor from those who rob them?â€

11Malicious witnesses testify against me.

They accuse me of crimes I know nothing about.

12They repay me evil for good.

I am sick with despair.

13Yet when they were ill, I grieved for them.

I denied myself by fasting for them,

but my prayers returned unanswered.

14I was sad, as though they were my friends or family,

as if I were grieving for my own mother.

15But they are glad now that I am in trouble;

they gleefully join together against me.

I am attacked by people I don’t even know;

they slander me constantly.

16They mock me and call me names;

they snarl at me.

17How long, O Lord, will you look on and do nothing?

Rescue me from their fierce attacks.

Protect my life from these lions!

18Then I will thank you in front of the great assembly.

I will praise you before all the people.

19Don’t let my treacherous enemies rejoice over my defeat.

Don’t let those who hate me without cause gloat over my sorrow.

20They don’t talk of peace;

they plot against innocent people who mind their own business.

21They shout, “Aha! Aha!

With our own eyes we saw him do it!â€

22O LORD, you know all about this.

Do not stay silent.

Do not abandon me now, O Lord.

23Wake up! Rise to my defense!

Take up my case, my God and my Lord.

24Declare me not guilty, O LORD my God, for you give justice.

Don’t let my enemies laugh about me in my troubles.

25Don’t let them say, “Look, we got what we wanted!

Now we will eat him alive!â€

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

Please pray I can give up smoking. It is consuming me. I cannot describe how bad it is; no one seems to take it seriously, but it is a very big deal. It is idolatry; people go to hell for that. I gave up for 5 days last week or the day before, but then without thinking it through properly, I...
