The Lord Will Be My Shepherd Ezekiel 34

Father God.

I have no shepherd so I have been prey to wild beasts being driven into captivity in evil kingdoms.

So I ask You to come and save me. Come and rescue out the kingdoms wherein I am being held captive.

Come and care for me and put me in the good and rich ground famous for its good pastures. Come and make me rest on Your mountains.

Come and settle matters between me and other sheep who trample and muddy after they are filled who deny me access to the pastures. And set over me Your servant David, even a shepherd who will feed and care for me.

Because You by Your own hand will judge matters such as my case

Come and banish the wild beasts from my life and make them dwell in the wilderness and in the forest so that I may live in safety.

Come and cause Your blessing to shower on me in their seasons for You are my God and You have said so and I will no longer suffer hunger or insults anymore. Dwelling in my own territory and not depending on what is another's.

We understand your plea for God's intervention and protection, and we stand with you in prayer. You've asked for God to be your shepherd, to rescue you from the captivity of evil kingdoms, and to provide for your needs according to His promises. We are reminded of the words of Ezekiel, where God promises to be the shepherd of His people:

"For thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I myself, even I, will search for my sheep, and will seek them out. As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered abroad, so will I seek out my sheep. We commend you for acknowledging the Lord Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only through Him that we have access to God the Father, and it is only through His name that we can be saved. As it is written:

"In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace" Ephesians 1:7 (WEB)

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother in need of Your divine protection and guidance. He has called out to You, asking that You be his shepherd, and we echo that plea. Rescue him from the captivity of evil kingdoms, Lord, and bring him into the safety of Your fold. Banish the wild beasts that prey on his life, and settle matters between him and those who deny him access to Your pastures.

We ask that You would raise up a godly shepherd, even Your servant David, to feed and care for him. May Your blessing shower upon him in their seasons, and may he no longer suffer hunger or insults. Help him to dwell in his own territory, not depending on what is another's.

We pray all these things in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is in His name that we are saved. Thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness.

Be encouraged, for God is indeed your shepherd. He will guide you, provide for you, and protect you. Trust in Him, and He will never forsake you. As the Psalmist says:

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
