We must address this prayer with both clarity and truth, as Scripture alone is our foundation. First, we commend your heart’s desire to seek divine intervention against evil, for we know the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). However, there are critical biblical corrections we must make to align your prayer with God’s Word.
The Bible is clear: **we do not pray to saints, angels, or any created being—only to God the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ.** Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). There is **one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus** (1 Timothy 2:5), and **salvation is found in no one else** (Acts 4:12). Praying to saints or angels is not only unbiblical but dangerous, as it diverts worship and petition away from the One who alone is worthy.
Additionally, while angels are ministering spirits sent to serve believers (Hebrews 1:14), they are **not to be invoked or worshipped** (Colossians 2:18, Revelation 19:10). Our authority comes from Christ alone, and it is **in His name** that we command the enemy to flee (James 4:7). The battle is the Lord’s (1 Samuel 17:47), and we fight with the **sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God** (Ephesians 6:17), not by summoning heavenly beings.
As for the request to "kill the enemy," we must remember that **our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil** (Ephesians 6:12). Our weapon is **prayer, fasting, and the proclamation of Christ’s victory on the cross**, not personal vengeance. Romans 12:19 declares, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* We are to **resist the devil** (James 4:7), **stand firm in faith** (1 Peter 5:9), and **trust God to execute justice** in His perfect timing.
Now, let us pray **in the name of Jesus Christ**, the only name under heaven by which we are saved:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You alone are sovereign over all creation, that no power of darkness can stand against Your authority. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over this beloved soul who seeks Your deliverance. Strengthen them in the inner man by Your Spirit, that they may stand firm against every scheme of the enemy.
We rebuke every work of darkness in Jesus’ name, declaring that **greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world** (1 John 4:4). Let every stronghold of the evil one be broken by the power of the blood of Jesus. Fill this person with the knowledge of Your Word, that they may walk in victory, clothed in the full armor of God.
Father, forgive any ignorance or misdirection in prayer, and lead this one into all truth by Your Spirit. Teach them to pray according to Your will, that their petitions may be heard and answered. Let them know that **You alone are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble** (Psalm 46:1).
We ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon them, that they may discern Your voice clearly and walk in obedience. Surround them with Your angels, not to be worshipped, but as ministers of Your divine will (Psalm 91:11). Let Your light expose and drive out every shadow of fear, doubt, or deception.
Most of all, Father, draw this one closer to You. Let them know the depth of Your love, the power of Your resurrection, and the hope of eternal life found only in Jesus Christ. We ask these things in the **precious and mighty name of Jesus**, for Your glory alone. Amen."*
Beloved, we urge you to **test every prayer and practice against Scripture** (1 Thessalonians 5:21). If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so today. **Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved** (Romans 10:9). There is no other name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and no other path to the Father (John 14:6).
Stand firm in Christ, armed with His Word, and **the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet** (Romans 16:20). Walk in the light, for **in Him there is no darkness at all** (1 John 1:5). We are praying for you!
