My closest friend is going through a hard time with her father. He and her mother split when she was about eight or nine. He has since remarried, adopted two kids, and is now going through a divorce. He is constantly getting drunk and is now being a horrible father to his two new kids. He was never really there for my friend, and she feels that she is "worthless." I know that if he knew her daughter, he would have a million things to be proud of, but he is too set on drinking away his problems that he will never express how he really feels. I ask for prayer that he might see his fault with his new kids, step up and be a good father to them, as well as realize his faults with his two previous children. The both still love him a great deal, but my friend feels she is being rejected. I pray that she also feels her worth and her love.
