"I am the Good Shepherd. I know My sheep,  and My sheep know Me." — John 10:14

Take it as your watchword during your wilderness wanderings, until grace is perfected in glory.

The music of the words, at this moment coming as sweetly from His lips as when first He uttered them,
"I know My sheep."

The weakest, the weariest, the faintest,
claims His attention.

He marks out my pasture, studies my needs, and trials, and sorrows, and perplexities,
every steep ascent, every brook, every winding path,
every thorny thicket, His loving eye follows me, day by day out to the wilderness.

The glories of Heaven and the songs of angels unable to dim or alter His affection,
the Good Shepherd's tender eye of watchfulness follows the guilty wanderers.

He goes before them and says,

Fear not!

I cannot lead you wrong;
follow Me in the bleak wasteland, the blackened wilderness,
as well as by the green pastures and the still waters.

Trust Me!

I will lead you by paths you have not known, but they are all known to Me, and selected by Me.

Follow Me!"

It is known by Palestine travelers,
that not only do the sheep there follow the guiding shepherd,
but even while eating the herbage as they go along,
they look wistfully up to see that they are near him.

Is your attitude, "looking unto Jesus?"

"In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths."
Proverbs 3:6

"The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not lack."
Psalm 23

I SHALL NOT LACK!
It has been beautifully called "the bleating of Messiah's sheep."

Leave the future, to His providing.

Let this be the record of your simple faith and unwavering trust.

His sheep follow Him, for they know His voice.

Amen everybody!

Our God of peace, you have taught us that in returning and rest we shall be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be our strength: By the might of your Spirit answer this request, we pray of you, so we may be still and know that you are God; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
