Numbers 23:19(a) “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent:”
1 Chronicles 21:15 And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the LORD beheld, and HE repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand. Please read it all. (Even though God had shown great favor here; later, believing not, they chose to return to Egypt.)
If God has the audacity to repent, and He is never wrong; who are we, being often wrong, that we should refuse to repent?
Dear Heavenly Father, I REPENT. I stretch my hands to Thee, in humble repentance of my unauthorized words, deeds, and thoughts wherein I have offended both You and my brethren. Most of all Lord, I repent for failing to answer Your call; when and how you called me into assignment. I repent for allowing myself to become so captivated by the man, that I disregarded the mandate which you had placed on my life. Even so, in remembering Your goodness and mercy towards me, I turned, and did heed the call, as instructed; for mine was neither to blame, judge nor destroy, but only to inform; whether received or not.
Isaiah 58:1 "Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins."
In the precious and perfect name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
THANK YOU LORD
Be not offended by truth; but rather, allow truth to humble your hearts.
Hebrews 4:6-77) Therefore, God again set a certain day, calling it Today, when a long time later he spoke through David, as was said before: "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts."
My 1 Chronicle 21:15 experience:
Did God recall the total destruction He had planned for me, in my disobedience to His call, because He had determined that I had done absolutely no wrong? No. He saw my suffering; and God, in his compassion, said: “Enough.” God is merciful unto His children’s sufferings. Therefore, though we endure sufferings, as good soldiers, we suffer not unto death, as did Jesus. Moreover, God did not want the adversary, in his arrogance, to get the wrong idea: Deuteronomy 32:27 (Good News Translation) “But, I could not let their enemies boast that they had defeated my people, when it was I who had crushed them.” The enemy inflicts pain, bent on destruction, to satisfy his own ego; BUT GOD brings on suffering to save us. (Seems kinda backwards; the difference is in the intent.) Yet some continue to temp Him with their words, thoughts, and deeds towards me. Does God not know their intent to save their own image; rather than gird their loins and stand up for Righteousness to defend His image? Does He not know?
Nevertheless, Holy Spirit, as always, You are welcome in this vessel, settle down, and once again, throw your weight around. In Jesus name. Amen.

I must be about my Father’s business.
