We hear your heart crying out for protection, justice, and deliverance for yourself, your mother, your three children, your pets, and those who stand with you, and we join with you in seeking the Lord together in Jesus name. We understand the deep frustration and exhaustion you feel from what you perceive as spiritual attacks, word curses, and the painful disappointment over the vehicle you hoped to purchase, and we want to bring all of this before the Father with biblical truth and hope.

We want to gently address some of what you have expressed. Scripture teaches us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Satan is a defeated foe through the cross, for greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and when we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us James 4:7. At the same time, the Lord calls us to let no corrupt speech proceed out of our mouths, but only what is good for building others up Ephesians 4:29, and to not return evil for evil or cursing for cursing, but instead to bless. While we understand your anger, we encourage you to release harsh and profane language and vengeful wishes, and instead trust God to be your defender. Vengeance belongs to the Lord and he will repay Romans 12:19, Deuteronomy 32:35, and his justice is perfect even when it is not instant in our eyes.

You have declared that word curses are powerless over you, and we agree that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn Isaiah 54:17. No curse can rest upon those who abide in Christ, for there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel Numbers 23:23. Yet Scripture also reminds us that death and life are in the power of the tongue Proverbs 18:21, so we encourage you to speak life, blessing, and truth over your family rather than focusing on the curses of others, trusting that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

You also mentioned stolen power, energy, and light, and the desire for a gold Lexus SUV and a reliable vehicle for work, family time, and daily needs. We want to remind you that your true power, identity, and glory come from Christ and cannot be stolen by any person, for the Lord is your strength and your shield. We do believe God cares about your practical needs and the desires of your heart when you delight yourself in the Lord Psalm 37:4, and that your God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We will pray that the Lord provides the right vehicle at the right time according to his wisdom and provision, not simply as a demand but as we trust his perfect will and timing for your family.

We are thankful that you invoked the blood of Jesus, for it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in his name alone that we are saved, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Jesus himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. The blood of Jesus is not a formula to claim things, but the precious means by which we are redeemed, forgiven, and protected as we walk in faith and obedience.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one, her mother, her three children, their pets, and the good people who support them. We ask you to cover them under your wings, for he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1. We declare that you are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust Psalm 91:2. We ask you to break and nullify every word curse, every evil intention, and every plan of the enemy against them, for we know that if God is for us, who can be against us Romans 8:31. Let no weapon formed against them prosper and let your peace guard their hearts and minds.

Lord, we ask you to calm their spirit and replace anxiety, anger, and weariness with your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Teach them to cast all their cares upon you because you care for them 1 Peter 5:7, and to be sober and self-controlled, for their adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, whom they can withstand steadfast in the faith 1 Peter 5:8-9. Help them to speak words of life and blessing, to forgive as you have forgiven, and to leave justice in your hands while they love and pray for even those who have hurt them Matthew 5:44.

Father, we also bring their need for a vehicle before you. You know their need for transportation for work, for their family, and for daily provision. We ask that you open the right door in your perfect timing and provide what is best for them, and help them to trust you and not be consumed with worry. Give them wisdom, favor, and honest paths as they seek this provision.

We bind every influence of the evil one away from this family in the name of Jesus and we ask for your holy angels to encamp around them and keep them in all their ways. Let them dwell in safety, hidden in your secret place, and let your light and glory rest upon them. We thank you that you hear us when we pray in Jesus name and that you are faithful to complete the good work you have begun. We give you all glory and trust your perfect justice, mercy, and love to prevail. Amen.

Your cry under heavy pressure has been brought before the Lord and we have carried you and your house to the throne of grace.

There are times when the arrows of the enemy fly thick and the soul feels itself cursed and hunted, and Satan shoots that poisoned shaft which would make you think you are given over to the pit. Yet it is written, Then He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it, but He has invented it and He has found it. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us. In our place He bore our sins and the curse which came of it, and being bought with that price we are justly freed. The Law cannot curse you though you have broken it, if you are in Christ Jesus, for He was made a curse for you. So those word curses of which you speak are powerless upon those who are sheltered in Him. They cannot hold where the blood has been sprinkled.

We also remember that troubles do not spring out of the dust, neither does affliction grow up from the ground, but the Lord Himself kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. What we receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand. This does not make the smart less sharp, but it makes it profitable, and it teaches us to moderate our anger against second causes and to look to our heavenly Father alone for sanctification and for deliverance from the power of sin and darkness. For deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and it is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. Unless a supernatural power is put forth, any form of deliverance is worth nothing. He must loose the captive.

Therefore we have prayed for you, for your mother, for your three children and for your household, that the Lord would keep back your souls from the pit and your lives from perishing, that He would deliver you from Satan and from evil company and from all the attacks of your old sins, and hide you in secret until this storm be overpast. We have asked that He would grant you quietness from the noise of archers that have troubled you, and give you to live and to declare the works of the Lord. We have also asked the Lord concerning your daily need, that if it be His will He would provide for you a vehicle for honest work and for the care of your family and for necessary provision, not for pride or show, but for usefulness, and that you may use it to His glory. We leave judgment and justice in His hands, for vengeance belongs to Him who will do right, and we pray that He would bind the power of the wicked and restrain those who would speak ill to hurt you, and that He would keep you from taking that work into your own hands.

Look then altogether to Jesus, the Ransom found by God. Trust not in phrases or formulas, but in the Person who was made a curse for you. Confess your sin with a broken heart, rest in His finished work, and you shall be saved, saved from yourself, saved from the devil, saved from the power of darkness. And when He brings you out, as He brought Israel out of Egypt, you will see it was by Divine power alone, and you will not take an atom of the honor to yourself, but will say with the Psalmist, The Lord has chastened me sore, but He has not given me over unto death, I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord.

May the Lord be gracious unto you and say over you, Deliver him, I have found a ransom, and may He keep you and your mother and your children and all that concerns you, in perfect peace, for your mind is stayed on Him.
