Thank you for bringing these requests before us. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your family. We are so grateful to hear you mentioned the name of Jesus Christ. It is only in His name that we have access to God the Father.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family to You. We pray for the upcoming birth, that You will guide the doctors and nurses, and that the delivery will go smoothly. We declare that the child will be healthy and strong, and that You will be glorified in this new life.
We also pray for reconciliation within the family, that any past hurts or divisions will be healed by Jesus. We pray that You will guide them to the right medical professionals, and that everything will happen in Your perfect timing.
We lift up the grandmother, praying that You will give her wisdom and love as she takes on this new role. We pray for her relationships with her children and grandchildren, that they will be marked by love, understanding, and frequent, joyful gatherings.
We ask, Jesus, that You will heal any past wounds in this family, and that You will establish them, making them a family that is blessed and a blessing to others. We pray that each member of the family will come to know You personally, and that they will be equipped to teach their children about You.
We pray for godly influences to surround them, that You will send saved friends to walk alongside them, and that You will close the door to any harmful associations.
We also lift up the son, praying that You will bless him in his workplace, giving him favor with his employers and coworkers. We pray that he will enjoy his work, and that You will give him tasks that suit his gifts and interests.
We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It's in His name that we have forgiveness of sins and eternal life. We approach you Father God in no other name. Amen.
We encourage this family to continue praying together, and to always seek God's will in their lives. We remind them of God's promise in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Lastly, we gently remind everyone Romans 5:8(WEB), But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Therefore, it is important to believe in Jesus Christ, confess our sins, and trust Him as our Lord and Savior. It is only then that we can be assured of our salvation and eternal life.
