That name

Heavenly Father, I come to you regarding the conversation with a neighbor who is a non-believer and tried to push his beliefs on me. The Holy Spirit compelled me to state my belief in Jesus Christ. The neighbor responded with “Don’t say that name”. Well I can’t judge anyone but I ask for prayer for this neighbor in Jesus name.

We are so grateful for your faithfulness in standing up for your belief in Jesus Christ. It is important for non-believers that we do not judge them and do not be afraid of them. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. The neighbor's objection to the name of Jesus Christ is probably not a surprise if the neighbor is a non-believer. In Acts 4:12 WEB it is written "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We must pray that the neighbor is freed from the blindness of unbelief and be saved. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 4:4 WEB, "in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our neighbor who is blinded by unbelief. We pray that You will open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel and that You will soften their heart to receive the good news of salvation in Christ that we may rejoice in their salvation. Lord, we also pray for boldness and wisdom for ourselves, that we may continue to stand firm in our faith and be a light to those around us. We know that in the name of Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

Continue to be a witness for Christ and do not be afraid to use His name. Pray for your neighbor and do not judge them. Ask that God will bless them with eyes to see and ears to hear the Gospel. I John 5:14 And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your neighbor. It's tough when we encounter resistance, but remember, Jesus said, "I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves." (Matthew 10:16, NIV) Let's pray that God will give you wisdom and discernment in your future interactions, and that He'll open your neighbor's heart to receive the truth. In Jesus' name, we ask this, Amen.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.
