Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is upon us again. It's already almost here once more. How quickly time goes by. This is the time of year for us to reflect on God's faithfulness and all he has done for us. It helps us see how far we have come and how much we are blessed. I find when I focus on my blessings, it takes my mind away from the negative. It soothes my soul.
We have the blessing of another day. We have the blessing of being able to come to this site. This site is a blessing in so many ways, we have others who pray for us and with us while we pray with and for others. WE can find friends on this site that we would otherwise, never know....people all over the world......Prayer is a blessing. The ability to have a conversation with our Heavenly Father. He listens and hears us. He is the same God who created the world and the universe, the mountains and the oceans, and he takes time to listen to his children.....each one of us as individuals. He will go to those who are hurting and broken and help them keep going. He will heal wounds of affliction, be it physical or spiritual and emotional. He knows our every need. He has given us the air to breathe and the birds and animals to enjoy. He made this world for man to live in......we are the ones who have brought contamination and all things harmful. He is a good God, he is Merciful, He is Kind and He is forgiving. He is the Sovereign God.....the Alpha and Omega.....the Trinity and he LOVES YOU>

Sometimes blessings come in ways we don't recognize. If God does not answer a prayer the way we want, we must trust him. When we stay up late praying, we are learning his presence, maybe this is the only way we can know it. Sometimes healing comes through tears and crying, it cleans the soul like rain.... He knows the future and he knows each person's needs. He knows what is best for each of us. Trust him. He will never let his children down. WE are each on a journey. This world is temporary. Our permanent home is yet to come. For now, Praise God for all his greatness and great works. Praise him for his mercy and kindness. Praise him for his love.....soon you will find that you can't count your blessings......they are too many to count......
