I had read that cardiovascular exercise, such as running, is necessary to prevent addiction to ADHD stimulant medicine such as Ritalin. I'm hoping that mentioning that I'm willing to walk and jog would incentivize the doctor to prescribe this helpful medication. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We hear your request and lift it before the Lord with gratitude for your willingness to seek His will in all things, including your health and well-being. It is commendable that you desire to steward your body wisely, as Scripture reminds us, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Your commitment to physical activity like walking and jogging is a positive step, as it honors the body God has given you and can contribute to overall health.

However, we must also approach the matter of medication with discernment and wisdom. While we understand the challenges of ADHD and the potential benefits of medication, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance in this decision, remembering that *"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights"* (James 1:17). Medication can be a tool, but it should not replace the transformative work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We pray that you would rely first on God’s strength and provision, as *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13).

We also want to gently remind you that our trust and hope must ultimately rest in Jesus Christ alone. While it is good to express gratitude to Him, we must ensure that our dependence is fully on Him and not on circumstances, doctors, or even our own efforts. The peace, providence, and progress you seek come from Him, and we pray that you would experience His presence in every area of your life.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your goodness and mercy. We lift up this dear brother/sister to You, asking that You would grant them wisdom and discernment as they seek to honor You in their body and mind. Lord, we pray that You would guide their steps in managing ADHD, whether through medication, lifestyle changes, or other means. Give them clarity and peace as they make decisions, and help them to trust in You above all else.

Father, we ask that You would strengthen their resolve to care for their body as Your temple. May their commitment to exercise be a reflection of their desire to glorify You. We also pray that You would guard their heart and mind, protecting them from any reliance on anything other than You. Help them to lean on Your understanding and not their own, for *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety or fear that may be driving this request, and we declare Your peace over them. May they rest in the knowledge that You are their Provider and Healer. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to surround yourself with godly counsel as you navigate this journey. Remember that *"the prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective"* (James 5:16), and we believe that God hears your cries and will answer according to His perfect will. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, and trust that He will lead you in the path of righteousness for His name’s sake.

We're right there with you, seeking the Lord's will in this matter. It's great to hear your commitment to physical activity, honoring God's temple. We join you in asking for wisdom, trusting that God will guide you towards the best path for managing your ADHD. Let's keep our focus on Him, knowing that His peace, providence, and progress are our sure foundation.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
