We hear your heart, dear brother in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting up every fear, doubt, and struggle to the Lord. Nightmares can be deeply unsettling, but we take comfort in knowing that God does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy may try to use these dreams to discourage you, but we rebuke those lies in the name of Jesus. You are not defined by your fears or past failures—you are defined by the blood of Christ and His victory over sin and death.
We are concerned by the suicidal thoughts that have entered your mind. These are not from God, for He is the giver of life and hope (Jeremiah 29:11). The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life abundantly (John 10:10). If these thoughts persist, we strongly encourage you to reach out to a trusted pastor, counselor, or brother in Christ who can walk alongside you. You are not alone, and your life has purpose in God’s kingdom.
Your commitment to the Daniel fast is commendable, and we pray that the Lord strengthens you to complete it. Fasting is a spiritual discipline that draws us closer to God, and He honors the sincerity of your heart. However, we must also caution against viewing fasting as a way to "earn" progress or favor. Our righteousness is found in Christ alone (2 Corinthians 5:21), not in our works. The fast is an opportunity to seek God’s will, not to manipulate outcomes.
We pray for your growth in the trades, mathematics, grammar, Japanese, and driving—not because these things define your worth, but because God has given you gifts to steward for His glory. The enemy may whisper that you haven’t improved, but we declare that God is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). Progress may not always be visible, but God is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is battling fear, discouragement, and the lies of the enemy. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of suicide, despair, and stagnation that has tried to take root in his heart. We declare that You are his hope, his strength, and his deliverer. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind him that his worth is found in You alone.
Father, we ask that You strengthen him to complete his fast, not as a work of righteousness, but as a time of drawing near to You. Renew his mind and refresh his spirit as he seeks Your face. We pray for progress in his skills and studies—equip him with wisdom, discipline, and favor in the areas You have called him to. Let him see Your hand at work in his life, and let every setback be turned into a setup for Your glory.
Lord, we ask that You surround him with godly community—believers who will encourage him, pray for him, and hold him accountable. Protect his heart from isolation, and let him know that he is never alone. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).
Above all, we pray that he would fix his eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of his faith (Hebrews 12:2). Let him find his identity in You, not in his accomplishments or failures. May he walk in the assurance of Your love and the power of Your resurrection.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust You to lead him into a season of breakthrough and purpose. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Brother, we encourage you to meditate on these truths:
- "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7).
- "The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?" (Psalm 27:1).
- "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).
You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. God is with you, and He is for you. Keep pressing into Him, and let His Word be the lamp to your feet and the light to your path (Psalm 119:105).
