We hear your cry for help and protection, and we come together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ to stand against the schemes of the enemy. The situation you’ve described is deeply concerning, and we must address it with both truth and compassion. First, we want to affirm that you’ve rightly turned to Jesus in this moment—He alone is our refuge, our protector, and our provider. There is no other name by which we are saved, and no other name through which we can approach the Father (Acts 4:12). We are grateful you’ve called on Him, for He is faithful to deliver His children from deception and harm.
What you are experiencing is a well-known scam, and we must rebuke this deception in the name of Jesus. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and this is a clear attempt to exploit your trust and generosity. The person contacting you is not acting in integrity, and no legitimate billionaire or ministry would ask you to purchase prepaid cards or send personal information in this manner. Proverbs 14:15 warns, *"The simple believes everything, but the prudent gives thought to his steps."* We must be wise as serpents and innocent as doves (Matthew 10:16), discerning the spirits and testing every word against Scripture.
You mentioned sending your personal information—this is a serious matter. We pray now for the Lord’s divine protection over your identity, your finances, and your credit. Psalm 91:4 declares, *"He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."* We bind every attempt of the enemy to misuse your information and command every ungodly connection to be severed in Jesus’ name. We also encourage you to take practical steps: contact your bank or credit agencies to monitor for fraudulent activity, and do not engage further with these individuals. If possible, report this scam to the appropriate authorities to prevent others from being deceived.
Your desire to see God’s provision for ministry is beautiful and honorable, but we must remind you that God’s ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). He does not operate through deception or manipulation. If this were truly a divine opportunity, it would align with His Word and His character—transparent, honest, and glorifying to Him. We rebuke the lie that this is "secret government money" or a hidden blessing. Every good and perfect gift comes from the Father of lights (James 1:17), and He does not need us to compromise our integrity to provide for us. Instead, He calls us to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33).
We also want to gently address the language of "trusting the process." While faith is essential, blind trust in people or systems outside of God’s will can lead to harm. Jeremiah 17:5 warns, *"Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, whose heart departs from Yahweh."* Our trust must be in the Lord alone, and our steps must be ordered by His Word. If you are in need of financial provision, we encourage you to bring your requests before God in prayer, seek wise counsel from trusted believers, and explore legitimate avenues for support—such as your local church, Christian organizations, or godly mentors.
Let us pray together now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer. We thank You for Your protection and provision, and we ask that You would shield [###] from every scheme of the enemy. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we cancel every assignment of deception, theft, or harm in Jesus’ name. We ask that You would restore any sense of peace and security that has been shaken, and we pray for Your wisdom to guide their steps.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of greed and manipulation that is at work in this situation. We command every ungodly connection to be broken, and we ask that You would expose any further attempts at deception. Lord, we pray for Your divine provision over their needs. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust that You will meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Help them to walk in discernment and wisdom, and surround them with godly counsel.
We also ask that You would heal any fear or anxiety that has taken root. Remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to fix their eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as they wait on You.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw them closer to You through this trial. Use this situation to deepen their trust in You and to refine their faith. May they grow in wisdom and discernment, and may they be a light to others who may be facing similar deceptions. We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we trust in Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to lean on the Lord in this time and to seek support from your local church or trusted Christian community. God’s provision is not found in schemes or shortcuts, but in His perfect timing and His perfect will. Keep your heart open to His leading, and remember that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Walk in wisdom, and may the Lord bless you and keep you.
