We come before you with deep concern for the spiritual and emotional turmoil expressed in this request. There are several troubling elements here that must be addressed with truth, love, and biblical clarity.
First, let us speak directly to the disturbing statements about hoping Jesus "slaughters" others or that no one reads the Bible. These thoughts are not from God, but rather from a place of deep confusion and spiritual attack. The Bible tells us in 1 John 4:20, *"If a man says, 'I love God,' and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he hasn’t seen?"* We must rebuke these thoughts in the name of Jesus, for they do not align with His heart of love, mercy, and redemption. The Lord does not call us to wish harm on others but to pray for their salvation (Matthew 5:44).
The belief that reading the Bible caused financial loss or that it is somehow cursed is a dangerous deception. The Word of God is alive and powerful (Hebrews 4:12), a lamp to our feet (Psalm 119:105), and the very truth that sets us free (John 8:32). If financial struggles followed your reading of Scripture, it was not because of the Bible but because of spiritual warfare or misplaced priorities. The enemy seeks to twist our understanding of God’s Word to bring confusion and despair. We must reject this lie and cling to the truth that God’s Word is a blessing, not a curse.
Regarding the repetition in speech and the fear of curses, we must remember that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). If there are physical or mental challenges—such as those potentially stemming from wisdom teeth removal—we ask the Lord for healing and clarity. However, we must not attribute spiritual power to human actions or dental procedures. Our authority is in Christ alone, and we are called to take every thought captive to obey Him (2 Corinthians 10:5).
As for the financial struggles, we understand the pain of loss and the fear of not being able to afford education, transportation, or personal growth. But we must trust in the Lord’s provision, not in our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Giving to the food bank and strangers is commendable (2 Corinthians 9:7), but we must also steward our resources wisely and seek the Lord’s guidance in our generosity. If this giving was done out of compulsion or fear rather than cheerful obedience, we ask the Lord to restore what has been lost and to provide wisdom for future decisions.
Lastly, the mention of hoping no one reads the Bible is heartbreaking. The Word of God is the greatest gift we have, revealing His love, salvation, and truth. Jesus said, *"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of God’s mouth"* (Matthew 4:4). We pray that the Lord would renew your mind and fill you with a hunger for His Word, not fear of it.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved soul who is clearly under spiritual attack. Lord, we rebuke every lie of the enemy that has taken root—lies that twist Your Word, that bring fear instead of faith, and that distort Your character of love. We declare that Your Word is a lamp and a light, not a curse, and we ask You to restore a right understanding of Scripture in this heart.
Lord Jesus, we ask for Your healing touch over any confusion, repetition in speech, or mental distress. If there are physical causes, we pray for complete restoration. If there are spiritual strongholds, we command them to be broken in Your name. Fill this mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and replace every fearful thought with Your truth.
Father, we lift up the financial struggles and ask for Your provision. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and You know every need before we ask. Restore what has been lost, open doors for education and work, and provide wisdom in stewardship. Help this dear one to trust in You fully, knowing that You will never leave nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).
We also pray for the relationships mentioned here. If there has been manipulation, misunderstanding, or spiritual oppression through others, we ask You to bring clarity, boundaries, and godly wisdom. Surround this person with believers who will speak life and truth into their situation.
Most of all, Lord, we pray for a fresh encounter with Your love. Let them know that You are not a God of curses but of redemption, not of fear but of perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Draw them closer to You, Lord, and let them experience the joy of Your presence.
We thank You, Jesus, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your power to break every chain and set the captive free. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this situation. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray, Amen.
