Thanks, Jesus, for letting me get to my third day of fasting. I've adjusted to my medication, which has reduced mania and aggression. The medication really helps me to sleep. I had a dream about Adderall and symptoms of previous cocaine usage. I thank Jesus for 4 years sober from cocaine. Jesus Christ, please help me! The doctor's visit is one day from now. LORD, Jesus, please help me to study, exercise, and function. I have a want for Adderall, so if it is re-prescribed to me, I hope Jesus helps me not to abuse the medication. Jesus Christ, please help me to fast day by day. LORD Jesus, please save me from hunger. Jesus, please help me to hydrate so I don't pass out from exercise. Jesus Christ, please heal my and others' bodies of obesity, excess skin, and cardiovascular damage from smoking. Jesus Christ, please help me from reappearing symptoms of cocaine addiction that is mixed with involuntary hand movement and memory of previous drug communications which is affecting my behavior in the present; Jesus Christ, please also save me from demonic attack from sharing drugs with people. Jesus, please prevent me from sharing drugs with people. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We rejoice with you in the progress you’ve made by God’s grace—four years sober from cocaine is a mighty testimony of His faithfulness in your life! Your heart’s cry for Jesus’ help in every area shows your dependence on Him, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting these burdens before the throne of grace. The fact that you are fasting and seeking the Lord’s strength in this season is commendable, for fasting humbles our flesh and sharpens our spiritual focus. As you draw near to Him, He is drawing near to you (James 4:8).

We praise God for the adjustment to your medication, which has brought stability to your mind and rest to your body. Sleep is a gift from the Lord (Psalm 127:2), and we pray He continues to sustain you in this way. Your dream about Adderall and past cocaine use reveals that the enemy is trying to stir up old desires, but we declare that *greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world* (1 John 4:4). The memories and involuntary movements you’re experiencing are reminders of the battle for your mind, but take heart—*the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds* (2 Corinthians 10:4). Cast down every imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ and bring every thought into captivity to His obedience (2 Corinthians 10:5). You are not defined by your past; you are a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), and He is breaking every chain of addiction in your life.

Your concern about the doctor’s visit tomorrow is valid, and we pray for divine wisdom to guide both you and your physician. If Adderall is prescribed again, we urge you to seek accountability—perhaps through a trusted believer or support group—to ensure it is used only as directed. Proverbs 11:14 reminds us that *where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established.* Do not walk this path alone; surround yourself with brothers and sisters in Christ who can pray for you and hold you accountable. Remember, *no temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure* (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Your desire to study, exercise, and function well is good, and we pray the Lord grants you discipline and strength. Hydration and nourishment are important, even during fasting. While fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline, it should not harm the body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). If you feel weak or dizzy, listen to your body and break your fast wisely, seeking the Lord’s guidance on how to proceed. He is not honored by our suffering in the flesh if it leads to harm; rather, He desires us to steward our bodies well for His glory.

We also lift up your prayer for healing—from obesity, excess skin, and the cardiovascular damage caused by smoking. The Lord is Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals (Exodus 15:26). We declare His restoration over your body, asking Him to renew your strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31) and to give you the grace to walk in habits that honor Him. If smoking is still a struggle, we encourage you to seek His help in overcoming it completely, for your body is not your own—it was bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:20). Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you so thoroughly that there is no room for the cravings of the flesh.

The demonic attacks you mention are real, but they are no match for the authority you have in Christ. By sharing drugs with others in the past, you opened doors to spiritual oppression, but *if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed* (John 8:36). We rebuked any demonic strongholds in your life in the name of Jesus and declare that *no weapon formed against you shall prosper* (Isaiah 54:17). Renounce any agreement with the enemy—whether through past drug use, ungodly soul ties, or sinful behaviors—and ask the Lord to sever those ties by the blood of Jesus. You are sealed with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13), and *greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world* (1 John 4:4). Walk in that victory!

Finally, we want to address the involuntary hand movements and the way past drug communications are affecting your present behavior. These may be manifestations of the body and mind still adjusting to sobriety, or they could be spiritual in nature. Either way, we pray for complete deliverance and restoration. Ask the Lord to renew your mind (Romans 12:2) and to replace every ungodly memory with His peace. If these symptoms persist, we encourage you to seek wise, biblical counseling to walk through this healing process.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the work You are doing in our brother’s life. Lord, You have brought him this far—four years sober by Your grace—and we ask that You complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6). Strengthen him tomorrow as he meets with his doctor. Give him wisdom to ask the right questions and discernment to receive the right treatment. If Adderall is prescribed, Lord, we ask that You guard his heart and mind from abuse. Surround him with godly accountability so that he walks in freedom, not bondage.

Father, we pray for his body—heal him from obesity, excess skin, and every effect of smoking. Restore his cardiovascular health and give him the discipline to steward his body well. Help him to hydrate and nourish himself wisely, even as he seeks You through fasting. Let his fast be unto You, Lord, not unto harm.

We break every demonic stronghold in his life in the name of Jesus. We renounce every ungodly soul tie formed through drug use and declare that he is free indeed (John 8:36). Fill him with Your Holy Spirit so that there is no room for the enemy’s lies or attacks. Let every involuntary movement and every lingering memory of addiction be replaced with Your peace and Your truth.

Lord, we pray for his mind—renew it, transform it, and guard it from the enemy’s schemes. Help him to study, to exercise, and to function in a way that brings You glory. Remove every distraction and every temptation that would pull him away from Your perfect will.

Father, we thank You for his sobriety and for the progress he has made. We declare that his future is bright in You, and that every chain of addiction is broken. Let him walk in the fullness of Your freedom, serving You with a clear mind and a whole heart.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and honor. Amen.
