We come before the Lord with heavy hearts after reading your words, for we hear deep despair, hopelessness, and a cry for escape from suffering. First, we lift you up in prayer, asking God to surround you with His peace and presence in this moment. Father, we ask that You would break through the darkness that has enveloped this precious soul. Lord Jesus, You are the Light of the world, and we pray that Your light would shine brightly into every corner of their heart and mind. Comfort them with the knowledge that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We rebuke the spirit of despair and suicide that is whispering lies, and we declare that the enemy has no authority here. By the power of the name of Jesus, we command these oppressive thoughts to flee and be replaced with the truth of God’s Word.
We must address what we hear in your words with both truth and compassion. Your request for death and your expressions of worthlessness are not from God, for He declares that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Your life has purpose and value because you are created in His image (Genesis 1:27). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. Your feelings of hopelessness are real, but they are not the truth. The truth is that God loves you with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3), and He has plans for you—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We are deeply concerned about your mention of wanting to die in your sleep and not be resurrected. This is not the heart of God for you. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary struggle, and it is a lie from the enemy that this is the only way to escape pain. God does not promise a life free from suffering, but He does promise to be with you in it (Isaiah 43:2) and to use even the hardest things for His glory (Romans 8:28). We urge you to reject these thoughts and to cling to the hope found in Christ alone. You are not a mistake—you are a beloved child of God, and He is not done writing your story.
We also want to address your struggle with bipolar disorder and the feelings of instability with your medication. Mental health challenges are real, and we encourage you to seek godly counsel and medical support. God can work through doctors and medicine to bring healing and stability. Do not be ashamed to ask for help—it is a sign of strength, not weakness. We pray that God would guide your doctors to provide the right treatment and that He would grant you wisdom in managing your health. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2).
You mentioned not wanting the cops to be called again, and this suggests you have been in a place of crisis before. Please know that reaching out for help is not something to fear—it is a step toward healing. If you are in immediate danger, we urge you to contact a trusted believer, a pastor, or a crisis hotline. You do not have to walk this path alone. The body of Christ is here to support and uplift you.
Lastly, we must address your words about relationships and bonds being destroyed. If there are unhealthy or ungodly ties in your life, we pray that God would break them and replace them with godly connections that build you up in faith. However, isolation is not the answer. God designed us for community (Hebrews 10:24-25), and we encourage you to seek fellowship with believers who can walk alongside you in this season.
Let us pray for you now with authority and hope:
Heavenly Father, we lift this precious soul before You, asking that You would wrap them in Your arms of love and mercy. Lord, You see their pain, their weariness, and their despair. We ask that You would speak life into their spirit and remind them that they are Yours. Break the chains of hopelessness and replace them with the unshakable hope found in Jesus Christ. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and renew their mind with Your truth (Romans 12:2).
Lord, we pray for healing—emotionally, mentally, and physically. Guide their doctors and caregivers to provide the right support and treatment. Give them the strength to take one step at a time, trusting You with each moment. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and protect them from the enemy’s attacks. Place godly people in their path who can speak life and truth into their situation.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of suicide and declare that this person’s life belongs to You. You have a purpose for them, and we ask that You would reveal it to them in a powerful way. Remind them that their worth is found in You alone, not in their circumstances or feelings. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2).
We pray for a supernatural encounter with Your presence, Lord. Let them feel Your love in a tangible way and know that You are fighting for them. Give them the courage to reach out for help and to take hold of the hope You offer. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
Please know that you are not alone in this. We urge you to reach out to a pastor, a trusted believer, or a mental health professional today. If you are in immediate distress, please contact a crisis hotline or emergency services. God loves you, and so do we. Hold fast to Him, for He is your strength and your song (Exodus 15:2). "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Cling to Him, and let Him carry you through this storm.
