Jesus Christ, please save people from the consumption of ibuprofen. Ibuprofen reduces the body's ability to build muscle. I found it soothing for my pain, numbness, and madness. The ibuprofen may have caused my arm muscles to be temporarily paralyzed, as I couldn't move them for a short period of time. I was wondering if this was a temporary curse from the children who were abused by their parents, and if the ibuprofen is a prevention of muscle recovery. I think this is why the military was saying that pain is weakness leaving the body, and that's because ibuprofen prevents muscle growth. I hope acetaminophen is the correct pain reliever that doesn't produce autism in children like Tylenol, and that doesn't prevent muscle growth like ibuprofen. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

We come before the Lord with grateful hearts that you have acknowledged Jesus Christ in your request, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your prayer reflects a deep concern for both physical well-being and the spiritual implications of medication, and we join you in seeking God’s wisdom and healing in this matter.

First, let us address the spiritual dimension of your request. The idea that your temporary paralysis could be a "curse from abused children" is not aligned with Scripture. While we know that sin and injustice have consequences, and the suffering of the innocent is a grievous evil in God’s sight, we are explicitly told in Scripture that curses do not operate in the way some might superstitiously fear. *"Like a fluttering sparrow, like a darting swallow, so the curse that is causeless doesn’t come to rest."* (Proverbs 26:2, WEB). Instead, we are to trust in the sovereignty of God, who works all things—even suffering—for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). If you are experiencing guilt or fear related to past sins or the sins of others, we encourage you to bring these burdens to Christ, who alone can free you from condemnation. *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."* (Romans 8:1, WEB).

Your concern about ibuprofen and its effects on muscle recovery and overall health is valid, and we encourage you to seek wisdom in this area. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to steward it well. While medication can be a tool for relief, it is wise to research and consult with medical professionals about the long-term effects of any substance we consume. Pain, though difficult, can sometimes serve as a signal from the body that something needs attention—whether rest, healing, or a change in habits. The military’s phrase, *"pain is weakness leaving the body,"* reflects a mindset of endurance, but we must balance this with biblical wisdom. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."* (3 John 1:2, WEB). Health is a gift from God, and we should pursue it in ways that honor Him, whether through proper medical care, rest, nutrition, or exercise.

As for your mention of acetaminophen, it is good to be cautious and informed about what we put into our bodies. However, we must avoid falling into fear or speculation not grounded in clear evidence. If you have concerns about the effects of certain medications, we encourage you to pray for discernment and seek guidance from trusted, knowledgeable sources—both medically and spiritually. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

We also notice in your request a mention of "numbness" and "madness." If you are struggling with emotional or mental distress, we urge you to seek help from brothers and sisters in Christ, counselors, or medical professionals who can provide support. You are not alone, and God does not intend for you to carry these burdens by yourself. *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). If there are deeper spiritual or emotional wounds, we encourage you to bring them before the Lord in prayer and seek godly counsel.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother to You, thanking You that he has come to You in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his body—restore strength to his muscles, clarity to his mind, and peace to his heart. Grant him wisdom as he considers the use of medication, and guide him to the right resources and professionals who can provide godly and medical counsel. Father, if there is any fear, guilt, or confusion in his heart, we ask that You would replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Help him to trust in Your sovereignty and to steward his body as a temple of the Holy Spirit.

We rebuke any spiritual strongholds of fear, superstition, or condemnation that may be affecting his mind or spirit. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You would surround him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Lord, if there are areas in his life where he needs to seek forgiveness or extend forgiveness to others, we pray that You would bring conviction and healing.

We also pray for those who have suffered abuse, that You would be their Comforter and Healer. Father, break the cycles of sin and pain in families, and bring redemption to those who have been hurt. Let our brother’s heart be aligned with Yours, filled with compassion and a desire for justice, but free from unfounded fear or guilt.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would lead him into all truth (John 16:13). If there are changes he needs to make in his life—whether in his physical habits, his thought patterns, or his spiritual walk—give him the courage and strength to obey You. May he find his rest and identity in You alone.

We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Dear friend, we're right there with you, lifting your concerns up to our Heavenly Father. We're not experts, just fellow believers who care and want to encourage you.

First off, we want to echo the thanks given for acknowledging Jesus Christ in your prayer. What a powerful name we have to call upon! We join you in seeking God's wisdom and healing in this matter.

Now, about the temporary paralysis you experienced. It's natural to wonder why, but remember, God is not a cruel taskmaster, doling out curses willy-nilly. Instead, we trust that He works all things together for our good, even the hard things (Romans 8:28). If there's guilt or fear haunting you, let's bring it to Jesus. He's the only one who can truly free us from condemnation (Romans 8:1).

As for the medication, it's wise to be informed and cautious. We're temples of the Holy Spirit, after all (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we should steward our bodies well. But let's not live in fear either. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We also noticed you mentioned "numbness" and "madness". If you're struggling emotionally or mentally, please reach out to trusted brothers and sisters, counselors, or medical professionals. You don't have to bear these burdens alone. And remember, God cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7).

Now, let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You on behalf of our friend. Thank You for their courage to seek You in this time. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on their body, mind, and heart. Give them wisdom as they consider medication, and guide them to the right resources and professionals. Father, if there's any fear, guilt, or confusion, replace it with Your perfect love. Help them trust in Your sovereignty and steward their body as a temple of the Holy Spirit.

We rebuke any spiritual strongholds of fear, superstition, or condemnation, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). If there are areas where they need to seek forgiveness or extend it to others, bring conviction and healing.

We also pray for those who have suffered abuse, that You would be their Comforter and Healer. Lord, break the cycles of sin and pain in families, and bring redemption to those who have been hurt. Lead our friend into all truth (John 16:13), and give them the courage and strength to obey You.

In Jesus' mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen."
