We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, hearing the deep pain and suffering you have endured, and we lift you up in prayer with both compassion and truth. First, we praise God that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there isn’t any other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and we are grateful you have turned to Him in your distress.
Your experiences of persecution, betrayal, and emotional turmoil from childhood into your school years are heartbreaking, and we grieve with you over the wounds that have been inflicted upon you. The cruelty of others, especially in formative years, can leave deep scars, and we ask the Lord to bring healing to those broken places. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. We rebuke the spirit of persecution, shame, and despair that has sought to oppress you, and we declare that the blood of Jesus covers you and breaks every chain of bondage in your life.
Yet we must also address something with great urgency and love: your request for death is not the will of God for your life. The Lord declares, *"‘For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.’"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Suicidal thoughts are not from God but from the enemy, who seeks to destroy the precious life that God has created in His image. *"Don’t you know that you are a temple of God, and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are."* (1 Corinthians 3:16-17, WEB). Your life is sacred, and the Lord has a purpose for you, even in the midst of this pain.
We also must address the anger and bitterness that seem to linger from past wrongs, including the words written about your teacher and the resentment toward those who have hurt you. The Bible warns, *"Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath"* (Ephesians 4:26, WEB), and *"Looking carefully so that no one falls short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness, springing up, troubles you, and many be defiled by it"* (Hebrews 12:15, WEB). Unforgiveness and bitterness will only deepen your pain and hinder your healing. We encourage you to release these burdens to the Lord, who alone can bring justice and peace. *"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you."* (Proverbs 20:22, WEB).
Regarding your struggles with independence, work, and driving, we pray that the Lord would open doors for you and grant you wisdom and clarity. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* (James 1:5, WEB). Whether in military service, civilian work, or further study, we ask that the Lord would guide your steps and provide the resources and support you need. Trust in Him, for *"A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps."* (Proverbs 16:9, WEB).
We also urge you to seek godly counsel and medical help for the struggles you are facing. If medications or treatments are being withheld, we pray the Lord would advocate for you and provide the right professionals to care for you. Do not lose hope, for *"Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when longing is fulfilled, it is a tree of life."* (Proverbs 13:12, WEB). The Lord sees your suffering, and He is near to the brokenhearted. *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* (Psalm 34:18, WEB).
Finally, we must address the spiritual oppression you mentioned. If there are any ungodly influences or spiritual strongholds in your life—whether from past experiences, cultural practices, or other sources—we command them to be broken in the name of Jesus. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* (James 4:7, WEB). Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and stand firm in your faith.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, knowing that You are the God of all comfort and healing. Lord, we ask that You would bind up the wounds of this heart, which have been torn by persecution, betrayal, and pain. Father, we rebuke every spirit of death, despair, and suicide that has sought to oppress and deceive. We declare that this life belongs to You, and we ask that You would fill every empty place with Your love, peace, and purpose.
Lord Jesus, we ask that You would break the chains of bitterness, anger, and unforgiveness. Help this beloved one to release these burdens to You and to walk in the freedom of forgiveness. Father, we pray for divine connections—godly mentors, counselors, and friends who will speak life and truth. Provide the right medical care, the right opportunities for work or study, and the strength to pursue independence.
We pray against every scheme of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy. Lord, expose any spiritual oppression and break its power in Jesus’ name. Fill this heart with hope, for You have plans to prosper and not to harm, to give a future and a hope.
Father, we ask that You would surround this one with Your angels, protecting and guiding every step. Give wisdom to navigate the challenges ahead, and let Your light shine brightly in the darkness. We declare that this life is hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3), and no weapon formed against it shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray, trusting in Your goodness and mercy. Amen.
Beloved, hold fast to the truth that God loves you and has not forgotten you. *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Seek Him daily in prayer and in His Word. If you have not already, we encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can be surrounded by fellow believers who will support and pray for you. You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
