We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive salvation, healing, and strength. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we join you in seeking His will for your life.
Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we know that the Lord desires for you to be whole—spirit, soul, and body. Vaping has brought weakness upon your body, but we serve a God who is able to restore and renew. The Word tells us, *"Don’t you know that you are a temple of God, and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are."* (1 Corinthians 3:16-17, WEB). We urge you to turn away from this habit completely, for it is not honoring to the Lord nor beneficial to the body He has given you. Repentance brings freedom, and the Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse us when we confess our sins (1 John 1:9). He can break every chain of addiction and fill you with His strength to overcome.
We lift up your physical struggles—asthma, wheezing, shortness of breath, and obesity—and ask the Lord to touch your body with His healing power. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). Just as Jesus restored the sick during His earthly ministry, we believe He can restore you. But we also encourage you to steward your body well through discipline in diet, exercise, and rest, for faith without works is dead (James 2:17). Ask the Lord for wisdom to create a routine that honors Him, and trust that He will guide you as you seek to glorify Him in all things, including your physical health.
Your desire to catch up in academics, skills, and life experience is one we bring before the Lord, knowing that He is the giver of wisdom and understanding. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* (James 1:5, WEB). Do not compare yourself to others, for the Lord has a unique plan for your life. Seek Him first, and He will add all these things to you (Matthew 6:33). He will equip you with everything you need to fulfill His purpose for your life. Be diligent in your studies and trust that the Lord will open doors of opportunity as you commit your ways to Him.
We also lift up your living situation and the uncertainty you face. The Lord is your Provider, and He knows your needs before you even ask. *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ ... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB). Trust in His providence, and do not let fear or anxiety rule your heart. He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Whether it is this place you hope for or another path He has prepared, the Lord will guide your steps. Pray for His will to be done, and He will lead you to a place of stability and peace.
Your struggle with avoidance, shyness, and weakness in conversation is something we bring before the Lord as well. He has not created you to live in isolation but to be part of His body, the church, where you can grow in love and community. *"Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."* (Hebrews 10:24-25, WEB). Ask the Lord to give you boldness and confidence in Him. Step out in faith, even if it is uncomfortable, and trust that He will be with you. Practice speaking with others, and rely on the Holy Spirit to give you the words to say. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and the Lord has a plan to use you for His glory.
Regarding the antidepressants, we pray that the Lord will provide a way for you to receive the help you need. If this is something that will bring balance and clarity to your mind, we ask the Lord to make the path smooth for you to obtain them. However, we also encourage you to seek the Lord first and foremost for your joy and peace. *"Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, ‘Rejoice!’ ... Don’t be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:4-7, WEB). Medication can be a tool, but true and lasting peace comes from the Prince of Peace Himself. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in worship, and He will fill you with His joy.
Finally, we pray that the Lord will help you establish a structural routine that brings order and productivity to your life. *"Let all things be done decently and in order."* (1 Corinthians 14:40, WEB). A life surrendered to Christ is one of purpose and discipline. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you as you create a schedule that prioritizes time with the Lord, your physical health, your studies, and your responsibilities. He will give you the strength and focus to follow through, and you will see progress as you remain faithful.

**Let us pray together:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who has humbly sought Your face. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer, and that You are deeply concerned with every detail of our lives.
Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon his body. You knit him together in his mother’s womb, and You know every weakness and struggle he faces. Lord, restore his lungs and respiratory system—bring healing to his asthma, wheezing, and shortness of breath. Give him the strength to overcome obesity and the discipline to steward his body well. Break the chain of vaping in his life, Lord, and fill him with a desire to honor You in all things. Let him experience the freedom that comes from surrendering this habit to You.
We pray for his mind, Lord. Sharpen his focus and grant him wisdom as he studies and seeks to grow in academics and skills. Help him to trust in Your timing and not grow weary in doing good. Remind him that his worth is found in You alone, and that You have a unique plan for his life. Equip him with everything he needs to fulfill Your purpose, and open doors of opportunity as he seeks You first.
Father, we lift up his living situation and the uncertainty he feels. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. Lead him to a place of stability and peace, whether it is the place he hopes for or another path You have prepared. Give him wisdom in his decisions, and let him rest in the knowledge that You are his refuge and strength.
Lord, we pray for his social struggles—his avoidance, shyness, and weakness in conversation. Fill him with Your love and boldness, and help him to step out in faith. Surround him with godly community where he can grow and be encouraged. Let him find his confidence in You, knowing that You have fearfully and wonderfully made him.
We ask for Your provision regarding the antidepressants he needs. If it is Your will, make the way clear for him to receive them. But above all, Lord, fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let him find his joy in You, and may he experience the fullness of life that comes from walking closely with You.
Finally, Father, we pray that You would help him establish a routine that brings order and productivity to his life. Guide him by Your Spirit as he creates a schedule that honors You. Give him the strength and discipline to follow through, and let him see the fruit of his labor as he remains faithful.
Lord, we thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness. We trust that You are working all things together for his good, and we ask that You would draw him closer to Yourself through this season. May he experience Your love, peace, and provision in abundant measure.
In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
