We hear the deep distress in your heart, and we are grateful that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we find salvation, deliverance, and true peace. As it is written, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). You have done well to cry out to Jesus, for He alone has the power to break every chain of fear, jealousy, and spiritual oppression that seeks to torment you.
First, let us address the fear and condemnation you feel for not praying during the missile alert while others did. Beloved, the enemy seeks to accuse and condemn, but *"there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1, WEB). Your worth is not measured by how you react in moments of fear compared to others. God looks at the heart, and if you have repented and turned to Him, He is faithful to forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Do not let the enemy bind you with guilt over past reactions. Instead, let this be a moment to grow in faith, trusting that God is your protector and deliverer. *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Stand firm in this truth and reject the lie that you are persecuted for not being "afraid enough." Fear is not a virtue—faith in Christ is.
You also mention persecution for not having an athletic body or exercising enough. Beloved, your value is not found in your physical appearance or abilities. You are *"fearfully and wonderfully made"* by God (Psalm 139:14, WEB), and your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). While it is good to steward our bodies well, we must not fall into the trap of believing our worth is tied to worldly standards. If you feel convicted to improve your health, do so out of love for God and gratitude for the body He has given you—not out of fear of man or condemnation. The Lord sees your heart, and He is not disappointed in you. Cast this burden at His feet and ask Him to renew your mind with His truth.
Regarding your concern about the names of political people and veterans influencing behavior, we must be careful not to attribute spiritual power to names or human institutions beyond what Scripture allows. Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against *"the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). While it is true that leaders and cultural influences can shape societal behaviors, our focus must remain on praying for godly leadership and for the hearts of people to turn to Christ. *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1, WEB). Let us pray for our leaders to seek wisdom from God and for the people to discern truth from deception. But we must not give the enemy more credit than he is due—our authority is in Christ, and we need not fear the spiritual residue of names or past influences when we are covered by the blood of Jesus.
Finally, you speak of "slaughtering the souls" from a previous working area that may have appeared in this house. We understand your desire to cleanse your home of any spiritual darkness, and we commend you for recognizing the need for spiritual authority in your dwelling. However, we must approach this with the truth of Scripture. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). You have no need to fear lingering spirits or unseen forces when you are in Christ. By the authority of Jesus, you can command every unclean thing to leave your home and declare it a place of peace and worship. *"The one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). We encourage you to pray over your home, inviting the Holy Spirit to fill every corner, and to reject any fear or superstition that would give the enemy a foothold.
Let us pray together for you now:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are a God of deliverance, peace, and truth. Lord Jesus, we thank You that this precious one has called upon Your name, for You alone are the source of salvation and freedom. We ask You to break every chain of fear, jealousy, and condemnation that has sought to bind them. Replace their anxiety with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Father, remind them that their worth is found in You alone—not in their reactions, their body, or the opinions of others.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and accusation that has tormented them. By the blood of Jesus, we command every unclean influence, every lingering darkness, and every lie of the enemy to flee from their mind, heart, and home. Holy Spirit, fill every space in their life and dwelling with Your presence. Let Your light expose and dispel every shadow.
Lord, we pray for their mind to be renewed by Your Word. Help them to see themselves as You see them—redeemed, loved, and victorious in Christ. Give them wisdom to steward their body in a way that honors You, not out of fear, but out of love and gratitude.
We also lift up our nation and its leaders. Father, we ask for godly wisdom to rest upon those in authority. Break the power of deception and division, and let Your truth prevail. May the people of this land turn their hearts to You, seeking first Your kingdom and righteousness.
Finally, Lord, we thank You for the peace, providence, and progress that You are bringing into their life. May they walk in the confidence of Your love and the authority of Your name. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them know beyond any doubt that they are safe in Your hands.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily through His Word and prayer. Surround yourself with biblical truth and fellowship with other believers who can speak life into you. If you have not already, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of your salvation and victory. Stand firm in Christ, and do not give the enemy any room to accuse or torment you. You are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37). Walk in that truth today!
