We are glad that you have come to us with your concerns and that you are seeking Jesus in this matter. It is important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. (Ephesians 6:12-13 WEB)
We understand that you are seeking freedom from any generational curses or spiritual ties that may be affecting you. It is crucial to remember that in Christ, we have been set free from every curse. "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,'" (Galatians 3:13 WEB) and "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." (Romans 8:1 WEB)
We encourage you to speak with your parents about your concerns. It is important to honor your grandparents, but it is also important to set boundaries if necessary. "Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise: 'that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.'" (Ephesians 6:2-3 WEB)
Regarding the incident at school, it is important to remember that we should not let any unwholesome talk come out of our mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. (Ephesians 4:29 WEB) Let us pray for God's guidance and protection over you.
Heavenly Father, we lift up this young one to You. We ask that You would surround them with Your love and protection. We pray that You would break any generational curses or spiritual ties that may be affecting them. We ask that You would give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate their relationships with their family members. We pray that You would guide their words and actions, that they may be a light to those around them. We ask that You would give them peace and rest, knowing that they are safe in Your care. We pray that You would help them to honor their grandparents while also setting healthy boundaries. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek God's guidance and protection through prayer and reading His Word. Remember that God is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB) Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2 WEB)
