We understand that you're going through a challenging time, dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and seeking the Lord's help for deliverance and protection. We are here to pray with you and provide guidance based on God's Word.
Firstly, we would like to know if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father and can have eternal life. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation.
John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
We also see that you are asking for protection from relatives. Remember that God tells us to honor our father and mother, and by extension, our family. However, if these relationships are harmful or cause you to fall away from God, then you should seek godly counsel and set appropriate boundaries.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our brother in his time of need. Lord, he is struggling with PTSD, and we ask for Your healing touch upon his mind and body. Please guide him to godly counsel and wise medical professionals who can help him navigate this challenging time.
Lord, he has also mentioned some concerns about his relatives. We pray that You would surround him with Your protection and give him wisdom in dealing with these relationships. Help him to set boundaries that honor You and keep him safe.
Father, we also pray for his cousin ### and his religious relatives. We ask that You would soften their hearts and draw them to a true and saving faith in Jesus Christ. Help our dear brother to be a light for You in his family, that they may see his good works and glorify You, our Father in heaven.
Lord, please make clear to him what you want him to do. Sometimes what may seem like emulation from PTSD can be the Holy Spirit doing a mighty work.
Finally, Father, we pray that our dear brother will continue to grow in his faith, that he will put on the full armor of God, and that he will stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB. Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
If you haven't already, consider finding a supportive church community where you can fellowship with other believers and grow in your faith. Also, seek professional help for your PTSD. There is no shame in getting the help you need, and it's important to take care of your mental health.
Lastly, spend time in God's Word and in prayer. The more you draw near to God, the more He will draw near to you James 4:8 WEB.
